TV guide.com says its on Channel 51 thats Fox Sports. FX has Mash and Married with Children re-runs. Which is even more worthless than Nascar Qualifying! Im going to play some NFL 2K2 on the sega dreamcast.... Relieve some stress!!! Im pissed

Looks as if FuX (no typo there) sports is giving priority to "NASCAR QUALIFYING" over Hockey. Its not even a race. This sucks. I have a feeling they would get higher ratings for Fighting Sioux hockey in Grand Forks over some cars driving around in circles all by themselves. Nascar may have its moments but one would think that they could prioritize Championship hockey over nascar qualifying!!!

I was that same impression that when UND renovated Hyslop to become a Wellness Center (fancy word for GYM) they were going to put a sports bubble type thing over Memorial Stadium, Build a new facility for the Athletic deptartment, and then turn Old Ralph into a Combo Volleyball and B-Ball facility. Is REA actually talking about having Hockey and Basketball going on in the same building at the same time???!!! Sounds trully DUMB. Looks like REA is trying to figure out more ways to take money from the rest of the Univeristy. Like when student tickets used to be free.

If you look at the stats it should be Sejna or Kunitz, no question. The time I have seen Sejna play he has impressed me to no end. I have never seen Kunitz play (hopefully I will this weekend if Midco gets their heads out of their @$$) so I have no real judgement on him but the numbers speak for themselves. But Sejna had 1.98 points per game this season. THATS SICK!! As I am writing this I just looked up Dave Leveneu's numbers and granted the fact that Cornell is an ECAC team, a 26-2-1 record with a 1.13gaa and a 9.43 save percentage looks pretty Hobey-wothy as well. The only things I see that sits a little poorly for Leveneu is that he only faced a average of 19.5 shots per game which indicates the fact that he has a great Defence Corp infront of him, and he's only a Sophmore. But I said the same thing for Ryan Miller too. Parise is a freshman. Granted he had a great year but his numbers weren't up there with the likes of Sejna or Kunitz. Give Zach a few more years to develop and Im sure he will be continue to put up the points and will come damn close if not win a Hobey. Remember he is only a fresman and he was 6th in the nation in scoring with 61 pts. (Vanek was 11th with 54).

Ditch the Basketball. This town is 60% hockey 30% football plus a little basketball and a lot of beer!!! I some how think that the Ralph could bring in more money for hockey, I figure that alone could motivate them to get more hockey!!

Liars Liars Liars The same Midco person (ANN) who told me that they would broadcast the game just swicthed her story. Why did they spend all this money to create a Fighting Sioux Sports Network when they refuse to broadcast the biggest game of the year. I'm pissed!!!

I like Ryan Hale back at D. I thought he played very solidly. Assuming that Dave is feeling up to par, the Hale Brothers could be a scary combo back at D. As for Canady, if he calms down he could be very effective. I think Greene has stopped taking as many penalties in the past few weeks and I am liking him more and more.

Great news everybody!!!!!! Just got off the phone with the folks over at midco and they said that they WILL be showing the game on the Midco channel at 4pm.... NO INTERNET FEED!!! YAY

Why not! I'm sure they would have no problem what so ever on selling that out. As for the World Juniors, 3 months prior to the Regional, it doesn't seem to me that a regional tourney of 3 games would put a strain on REA at any time. As for the semantics of "West" vs. "Midwest" regional, it doesnt really matter. Geographically, I have always considered Grand Forks and Minneapolis to be in the Midwest. But I guess the only teams that are more west than UND are CC, DU, Airforce, UAA, UAFairbanks, and maybe UNO. I know that CC is hosting a regional next year (I think) and I really dont think the NCAA will fly teams out to Alaska to a regional. On another issue doesnt it seem like the Gophers have been gifted home Ice to the frozen four. They had home ice for the 1st round, granted that was thier own doing. Then the final 5 was at Xcel, while not Mariucci im sure the "home town fans" tend to come out in droves. Now the regional is at the UofM, hmmmmm. Oh yeah and where was the frozen four last year? Oh yeah--- XCEL. I'm not taking anything away from the Gopher team they are not a bad team (can't be too nice can I ) but home / local ice never hurts anything. Anywhoo after the Sioux are done with the regional the home ice will be a world of hurt for the Gophers!! I hope Lets go Sioux... Have a wonderful day!!

I LOVE THE WCHA... Its getting to be one huge rivalry UND, UM, UMD, MSUM, SCSU all dont really like each other. I would love to go to a CC-Denver game. The only 2 teams that are normally slough teams ate UAA and MTU (even though they beat the Sioux at home) , this year UW was kind of a push over but give them a year or two to get used to the new system. There are so many teams to get pumped for its great!!! Even Tech and UAA are welcome opponents!
