You actually and purposely scheduled classes on Friday???
-
Your 1st point shouldn't be an expectation of your #1 goalie, your 2nd point should be though.
-
Totally with you. There were times last year where I almost felt UND was down 1-0 before the pucked dropped because BE seemed to always give up a soft one. With that said, I'd like to see BE get some ice time, but with the race for Cup on and Dell in total control game in and game out, I don't see that happening.
-
Eidsness in 2+ years as the guy was never as solid and consistant as Dell has been this year. Dell's positioning is better, he controls rebounds better and most of all IMO his concentration is better... he doesn't give up a softy nearly as often as BE did.
-
I tend to agree but it would be nice to see that happen though.
-
I know we have had Oshie and Toews, but I agree with comparing his level of play all the way back to Panzer. If Frattin gets another 8-10 goals, we might be talking about one of the all-time great seasons by a UND forward.
-
Agree on the split....the Clowns have too much talent to be playing as bad as they have so far this year. They could be hitting their stride alittle bit after taking 3 points from UMD. On the Genoway comment, you are right on IMO using the term "balanced". Every guy on the ice this weekend looked like they "knew" what was happening and what was going to happen with the puck. Why??? Because no one was overhandling or overplaying the puck. Perfect example was Friday, UND got one rush after another because our D-man played it simple. With the sick talent of these forwards, all a D-man needs to do is get one of them the puck on the tape coming up ice out of the D zone then grab some popcorn and watch for a hightlight reel moment. Each D-man this weekend took care of his defensive responsibility first before trying to do anything else...that's how you give up only 2 goals and 40 total SOG for the weekend.

Also was watching ESPN Sportscenter a couple days ago. They were breaking the news of Jerry Soan, Utah Jazz coach, stepping down. Video footage of Sloan game coaching had a guy with a UND T-shirt right behind him...looked like this UND guy was front row behind players bench.

Blues play Thurs. night vs. Oilers (I believe). West regional Fri./ Sat.
-
Agree with the reasoning you proposed.
-
Agree...if it was more serious I don't think he would have made a go of it late especially given the score. Would be suprised if he was out tonight.

If DU and UND are #1 seeds and UMD is a #2 seed, as it sits now, who gets sent to St. Louis and Green Bay for the #1 seed. I think for gate revenue, UND goes to St. Louis and DU and UMD go to Green Bay? Thoughts...

The most obvious observation from the Ralph last night IMO was UND plays fast and with speed when the D-man don't overplay and overhandle the puck. Tonight was the first time in a loooooong time our D-man played it simple...short, quick tape to tape outlet passes to start the rush. There was not one time from last night where I saw a D-man try to take off with the puck and try to weave thru 5 UAA players going down ice. All 6 D-man took care of their defensive responsibilities first and then transitioned the puck out of the D zone. Thought Forbort played his best, if not one of his best, games of the year. Gleason was very good too. Dickin could be a find...he skates well and handles the puck well. His centering pass from the left wing to Rowney in the crease, that could of resulted in a goal, a minute plus into the second was a great pass. Frattin, when he brings it, is a man among boys...goodness was he an absolute beast last night. He was the best player on the ice by a mile. Dell was money as usual. If I had a say in tonight's line-up, I'd sit Hexy and play Cichy. Finally, Davidson...if anyone hasn't seen him play live and wonders why he is in the line-up, stop wondering. He was arguably one of our top 4 forwards last night. His control of the puck behind the net was the reason we got our third goal and with him in there with Mario and Rodwell, they are more than just a checking line. They control the puck and create offensive chance more often than not. UND is now 10-2 when Davidson is in the line-up. If this team continues to hang a six pack on the board night in and night out....

Tickets are still available for tomorrow night.

Back in the day, Whitey's was the place to be on the weekends, Tom Clifford was a rock star and UND was home of the "Fighting Sioux".....oh, how times have changed!

PM me if interested.

GO PACK GO!

Another well stated post...you folks today on this thread are killing it!
-
I don't know what your 1st post consisted of, but you are spot on with your 2nd one! Excellent.

Well said. Let's face it...the Vikings are looking at a 3rd or 4th place finish in the NFC North for years to come. No QB, aging defense that was grossly overrated the last couple years and poor ownership. Least Chilly is out of the picture...he was worth at least a 3 point swing for the opposition every game. Green Bay has the potential to do what the Steelers have done as of late...getting to 3 SB in the last 6 years.

Last bump. Still looking...
-
NEVER....ummmm, yes. A lot actually...
-
He was 24-39 for 304 and 3 TDs! Granted he was 1-5 to start but "come on, man!" Mike and Mike and Trent Dilfer ALL on ESPN radio said this am that it will go down as one of the BEST SB QB performances EVER when you take into account the drops, the defense he went up against, losing Driver mid 1st half... But I'll go with your brillant FB mind!
