  1. My oldest daughter turns 11 on Oct. 27. She wants to bring a bunch of friends to one of the St.Cloud games for her birthday party. I have 4 tickets in Sec. 110 and am looking for 4 more in or close to Sec. 110. Would buy or swap for another game down the road. Any help would be appreciacated. Contact me via PM.
  2. You heard correct. He already has already appealed the NC$$ twice and lost. Was going to appeal a 3rd time, which would be his last chance...so I heard.
  3. Or you could cue the Muss..."We went toe to toe with 'em."
  4. Well said. Hak has his teams ready to handle the rigors of the WCHA. He just hasn't figured out to match up with the likes of BC. Will see this coming weekend as Maine comes to town if any adjustments are made.
  5. You can take history as you want to but UND hasn't fared well vs. the East teams under Hak...especially BC. Next week's series vs. Maine will be interesting to watch. Just got throttled by BC and Maine coming to town after last year's beatdown in their barn. Every team from every school is different every year talent and line-up-wise...coaching adjustments to the style of play of the competition does matter. I'm not saying, I'm just saying...
  6. 8700 at the game? Really? I'm in the Cities for soccer but that no problem finding someone to use my seats. Suprised by announced small crowd. A win is a win... a buddy was texting me during game. Sounds like it was a decent effort for a young team.

In total agreement here. I'll give Muss credit as last week was a big conference and road win. This program needs to win the games they are suppose to win...W. Oregon and Sioux Falls in a big way and compete well in the conference the rest of the way.
  8. That is incorrect fro what I heard. He graduated from Fargo South, but some on-line HS courses he took to accelerate his education prior to going to FSHS are being called into question.
  9. Heard from a extremely reliable person close to the situation that the St. Clair clearinghouse issue is a huge mess and it's not looking good.
  10. Packers go to 4-0 today. Vikings go to 0-4 today.
  11. Mattson is the real deal. I thought McMillan looked very good too...smooth skater and great awareness on the ice. Parks looked solid as well. Knight's line looked great. Was suprised to see Nelson at wing. My gut says he centers the 2nd line if and when we get healthy up front. Gleason and Mattson pairing is going to be a huge advantage for UND. Both those guys can skate and handle the puck. How many times do you see a give and go from 2 D-man like on Gleason's goal?? Suprisingly good crowd last night...was a fun opening night at the Ralph.
  12. Bismarch HS just reloads year after year. I'll take Bismarck to win it all and give anyone who wants to bet the rest of the Class AAA field. I'd be shocked if anyone comes within 2 TDs of BHS once the playoffs start.
  13. I think some UND backers need to stop the chest pounding and stone throwing. After our Nov. 5th game, if we win, then fire away!?!?!?!
  14. 4 tickets for both Friday and Saturday sessions available in Sec. 110. Asking $200.00 total. PM if interested.
  15. Where is our win vs. any FBS team? Until we get one, it think refraining from taking shots at the FBS teams NDSU has beat is the better play here.
  16. Our 2 halfbacks barely weigh 300+ lbs.combined, but I liked the way the way they hit the hole and cut out of it. Joey, IMO, throws a "lazy" ball. Take a long time to get from A to B. Not alot of arm strength. I can how if he is late delivering the ball vs. better competition, he is going to really struggle. Front seven looked good on D. Corners??? Little supsect. Safeties were solid. A win is a win, as last week a loss was a loss.
  17. Congrats to NDSU. 5W 3L vs FBS teams as a FCS program. 'Nuf said. Impressive. The punt on 4th and 15 by "No Stones" Mussman vs. Fresno with a chance to win our 1st game vs. FBS team is why UND is an 'O"fer so far. But as Muss was quoted in yesterday's Forum..."we needed the make one more play" vs. Fresno. I have been able to get to know Bohl a litttle bit. He is a good guy and good coach. You can tell in coversations with him, he will coach to win every game...no moral victoires with him and "toe to toe" doesn't cut it. Can't argue with the success NDSU is having vs. FBS teams.
  18. Good to see UND cracked the poll, but...I saw EWU, who is at #22 this week, play the Griz this Sat. in Missoula and I have also seen UND play a couple of times this year. There is no doubt in my mind having watched both teams that EWU would beat UND...even if it were in the Alerus. EWU is really, really good. My buddy, who lives in Seattle, saw EWU and UW 1st game of the year and said EWU was the better team minus the final outcome. EWU QB Bo Levi can flat out spin it. He is a good one. Put a talent like that pulling the trigger for UND and watch out! Again, good to see UND in the poll, but it's a poll.
  19. Not writing off the season, but you're correct...I'm not a Muss fan. Thought he should of been let go at end of last year. Joey is a servicable QB and will improve. The game I have marked on the calender is Sioux Falls. They embarrassed us 2 years ago. Anything less than a UND blow-out and then the season is lost. BTW....UND has given up 190 yards thru the air in a quarter and a half.
  20. We gave up 41 straight to Idaho last week. I'll set that as the uner/over this week and I'll take the over. Frenso will score 42 straight this week.
  21. Last year was last year...what I saw vs. Drake and what I saw from the two teams today wasn't close to the same talent...even with our "better" QB this year. The Big Sky is a great conference with some very good teams. UND will need to build to get to the level of play I saw today. Maybe next week's game vs. Black Hills might change my mind though?? Game plan? Have you watched a Muss coached team in the last couple of years! Your comment on the Alerus is very true though. The Al seats half of what Griz Stadium does so in theory UND should be able to fill it...you are correct in that fan support is key.
  22. Was at this game...let me just say this, UND has a loooooong ways to go to get to what I saw and experienced this afternoon. 26K+ wearing maroon and/or silver going nuts for 4+ hrs. in a GREAT outdoor stadium. Both the Griz and EWU passed the eyeball test and had talent all over the field on both sides of the ball. UND is getting to a great conference next year, but if what I saw is the norm in the Big Sky UND will be in trouble for a couple of years from a competitive standpoint. Both teams went for it on 4th down, took chances to WIN the game and the coaching dwarfs what UND has from both teams on both sides of the ball. Was just a great college FB game in a terrfic college atmosphere.

I'd even go as far to say that the #1's on the depth chart in the late 90's and early 2000's were more talented that the #1's the past 3-4 years. There is more depth on the past couple year's teams, but the top end talent hasn't arrived and IMO isn't even as good as it was in our last few D2 years. To win at this level today a coach has to recruit, bring excitment to the program, coach good to marginal to talent up and coach to WIN football games. "You play to win the game!"
  24. Won't be that close...
