Agree that if UND gets 3 (+) goals each night, they'll get points in both games. Will that happen??? We are not exactly lighting it up.

IMO this series will come down to one thing...special teams. UND is 0-19 on the PP in their last 2 series. If we don't get any PP goals this weekend, we are going to be in trouble. We also can't take STUPID penalties...especially with bad timing. We have taken more penalties in the final 2 minutes of a period this year than any other year I can remember

Do you have children?? If you do, with that "reasoning" above, they are probably working you over! That comment above sounds like something you'd hear from an enabling parent.

Couple things I've taken from Hak's comments over the past couple weeks...1) He really likes Kristo on the Trupp line. 2) He likes Lammy centering the 4th line. I like what you got here but don't see it happening. I think our first 2 lines stay as is. Then I could see Zajac, Hexy and Toews. 4th line of Lammy, Knight and Rowney. I think Bruno and Cichy sit Friday if Knight and Hexy can go.

Whether there is evidence or e-mails or not, based on conversations with some in the Bison camp here in Fargo, there are some questions being raised about the "personal gain" issue whether valid or not. So this isn't just a UND mob out to tarnish Joe.

If true Hexy can/will play this weekend, I'll set the over/under being 15:15 of the 2nd period in Sat. game that Goerge goes absolutely nuts over something Hexy says or does! Totally agree on Chay. If he can't go this week, I think his last chance to get back into this season is at SCSU as well.

That is correct. They are under contract to caryy ALL UND home games this year.

I'llsay this again, a big financial booster at NDSU used the terms "delusional" and "corrupt" this AM when discussing Joe and this preceived oversight. If he has these feelings about Joe, I don't think for a minute he's in the minority of NDSU suppoters/boosters with these thoughts.

The gentleman I spoke about in my last post (#219) has met Joe and per his conversations about him seems to know him fairly well...again not amused with him even before he left SU. I can safely say I don't think he thought that Joe was all that you seem to think he was/is.

I have coffee most mornings with a very prominent Fargo businessman and HUGE financial NDSU booster. When we were discussing this situation/article this AM, he said Whiskey Joe was "delusional" and "corrupt". He didn't seem one bit amused by what Joe said in the interview. Just the messenger...

Hextall got hurt before Knight and both were "out for 4-6 weeks". Wonder if there is any chance Hexy might be back this weekend as well?

Not saying UND is #4 in the nation, but INCH has Cornell at #5? Both are up higher than they should be. But after this weekend whereever Cornell is ranked, we should definately be higher than them IMO.

I appreciate the fact that UND is willing to travel, especially out east, to play other top tier teams. It's good for our program and great for college hockey. Would be nice to see other WCHA teams follow suit.

Because the one thing I don't struggle with is going to bed each and every night knowing I've given EACH patient the best care I can give them.

My gut feeling is BE plays both games after his play last night and shutout...for 59:51. Who ever is in net might see as many shots from DU on Friday as Cornell got off all weekend. The forward skill coming into the Ralph markedly better than what Cornell put out on the ice.

In today's Fargo Forum, Leigh Jeanotte, our infamous director of Indian Services at UND, suggests the potenial bias of the ND Supreme Court as to their potential dealings with the UND nickname issue! He's basically calling out the ND Supreme Court because 4 of the 5 justices have ties to UND. Absolutely pathetic!!! Folks, Jeanotte is one of the biggest racists, most vindictive and mean spirited people I've ever come across. Let me briefly share my story as to my dealings with him: A few years ago, after the Forum published a survey/article of how the NAs in this state felt about the nickname issue, which as we know was/is overwhelmingly positive, and Jeanotte's refusal to accept these findings as per his quotes in that same article. I subsequently sent a letter to the editor at the Forum that was published giving my opinion on the nickname issue. I did call into question Jeanotte and his "views" in my letter as well. Here is the interseting part...I received hundreds of e-mails, letter in support of what I had written. I received TWO..again two negative responses. One was from a female prof at UND that I won't name and the other was from Jeanotte. He basically called me a rascist, threatened to call my employer, said I was an embarrassment to UND...I could go on. But I gets better...he actually called my employer, I'm a Dr. here in Fargo, and asked that they fire me for my "racist" views. He told them that I was unfit to see and treat minorities because of my stance on the nickname issue. He also called my state and national boards asking them to revoke my license to practice. He also suggested that I go get "sensativity training". There's even more but those are the big points I wanted to make. Now he is basically calling out the justices of the ND Supreme Court! I don't think most people in this state understand how spiteful, vindictive and I'll say it...racist, many of these anti-nickname oppponents are...especially Jeanotte. He IS an embarrassment to UND!
