  1. My top 3 in no particular order...Rough Riders, Oilers and Cowboys.
  2. Are you talking apparal or gfhockey?
  3. How bout David wasn't any good...........if Johnny couldn't see that it's on him.
  4. Unbelievable game. I went to many a Royals games growing up from '75-'83 when I had relatives living in KC. A buddy of mine in Fargo used to live in KC and work for the Royals. I have no doubt he was in tears late last night. As he would say..."Be Royal!"
  5. Don't ever have that thought again.
  6. This........^^^^^^^
  7. Just got #19 Trupp put on my last Sioux crested sweater.
  8. Every team's fan base needs unrealistic homers to even things out I guess............
  9. Should I wear my home yellow to the Alerus Saturday?
  10. Sorry but I lost my Kelly green tinted glasses 3 years ago...but obviously you still have a few pair around. What's your prediction then...other than that Joe has a sensational week of practice? UND will have to score 2 offensive TDs to cover IMO. That's happened in how many games so far?
  11. I'd bet the over for sure and lean towards the Griz covering.
  12. Well from what I observed in the Dickinson and Belfield areas recently and having lived in Williston before, I'll say a mix between Seth Rogen and Vanilla Ice.
  13. Pretty sure I know what a "gfhockey" looks like now as well......................
  14. Yes to the above points...Joe will have to play his best game of the year to give UND a chance. The Griz D-line is one of the top 5 in FCS so UND will have it's troubles running the ball consistently IMO. And who can forgot Johnson completely carving up UND's D the last time they played. UND will compete hard...Bubba has that instilled in them, but an early pick 6 by Joe can't happen this weekend to derail the early effort.
  15. Was bow hunting along the Lil Mo SW of Amidon. Listened to game on the Bobcat radio network. Good step in right direction overall for UND from what I heard. Their radio guys were very complimentary of our D especially in 2nd half. Also commented our O looked better playing w urgency in 2nd half. They though UND D TD was horrible call. Off topic...open faced hot beef w fries and gravy at Trappers in Belfield is still tough to beat.
  16. And at least 6 of those are wishing they would be getting a colonoscopy instead of being in those meetings.
  17. No idea how the opening line was only 19 vs MSU. Its a year awau but SU will at least a 4 TD home favorite vs UND IMO
  18. My revision of my mid week revised early week prediction: 42-17 Cats
  19. 16 for UND. 12 for the Cats.
  20. So what I'm gathering by some here is UND can't run the ball effectively but the more they do it limits the other team's offensive potential because it chews up the clock and thus shortening the game but yet UND can't pass the ball either with success. So to summerize UND's offensive capabilities heading into Saturday.............
  21. Not to bother you....but can you repeat that bolded and underlined part again?
  22. Mid week revision of early week prediction........UND runs the ball 43 times for 78 yards, wins the TOP battle to limit MSU's offnese, the defense gives up only 10 points by half but MSU still wins 31-6. (No missed PAT this week but 2 FGs made)
  23. Oh....I get it NOW! UND's offensive philosophy of pounding the ball without success and not will to try anything else is just an attempt to try to keep the losing points spread palatable by limiting the other team's offense. If UND gets a few first downs that's just gravy. Actually having or expecting the offense to score points at any point in a game...meh.
  24. Big picture....again I'm not suggesting we throw it 55 times like Muss did, but the offensive philosophy is completely a 180 with personal not geared for pounding it 40+ times a game. What did we throw it last game? 9 times? How about a happy medium even if it's 2 to 1 run vs.pass? Outside of 1 big play last week, UND ran 40+ plays for less than a 2 yard average. Now are any BS defenses going to be as good as SB's D from last week...apparently not according to most here but the BS offenses will be much much better. UND will have to score points to even be competitive in the BS week in and week out. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. If UND has 200 yards of total offense and 7 first downs on Saturday or next Saturday they will get beat by 30+. The defense has been impressive for the most part this year but to think they'll hold most BS teams to 17-21 points is very optimistic and even if they do UND has to score 17 which it hasn't done yet.
  25. No alternatives? Play action on first down? Play action on 2nd down? Quick 3 step drop on first or second down? Screen pass or bubble pass? Off tackle on first and second down every series setting up 3rd and long has provided this offense with what? You are right...obviously I don't understand. It will be interesting to see what happens on both sides of the ball the next 2 Saturdays. Gotta go......Irish wants a rematch in Madden.
