Two big questions...can UND's D score a TD in it's 4th straight game and can UND's O finally score more TD's than its own defense does in a game? If the answer is yes to both UND wins Saturday.

4 players IMO that are key to getting #8 moving forward: 1...Nick. 'Enuf said. He'll make people forget Rocco left by Christmas. 2...Thompson. Might have the best overall Dman skill set on the team. 3...Bryn. I think he has all the tools to produce some good #s. 4...OD. 3 years of very limited moments of "yup...he can play". That needs to be a full season

That was a good call...I didn't see that coming.

I know this...winning FB games in the BSC with this offense will be difficult regardless of how improved this D is. 2 fitty in total yards of offense week in and week out isn't going to cut it very often.

Kudos to Bubba and the team. A loss is a loss but I have no doubt the light at the end of the tunnel will continue to get brighter but this is one that got away.

Give Bubba credit his D is real solid.

IMO OD has had a longer leash in Haks tenure than almost any player. It's his Sr year...he needs to show up big time...for the whole season.

Joe will have to make plays... in the first half...for UND to have any chance today. He has proven he can make the throws but they can't continually come in comeback mode or garbage time.

Here's what we know as this point...even at 1-4 the SB D is one of the best to hit the turf at the Alerus...ever. UConn is a FBS school that has been successful in FB...at least for a season...at some point. We should have scheduled UConn this season as it would have gotten UND its first and much needed win vs a FBS team...and yes even beating UConn would mean even a little something...since UND hasn't beating any other FBS team. And UND will play the Griz today.

Have you seen UNDs offense in the last 5 weeks? Statistics are only as good as the competition played. I have seen the Griz twice this year. Their D line is top 5 in FCS. They are every bit as good as SB D.

This should not be a question that should be asked after playing 3 years but I'm with you. Hopefully he can put together a decent season.

My mid week prediction: Griz 28 UND 13 Griz QB Johnson is really, really good. Joe...well... UND D is improving every week. Griz front 4 on D is filthy. UND offense will look better...in the 2nd half again in similar scenario vs. MSU. UND covers the 17. "Day by day" moral victory with another positive step forward. UND-FB-FAN and I become Snaphat buddies.
