I'll state this again...Miami a few weeks ago was the worst defensive team I've seen come to the Ralph in years. 6-5 type game...especially if UND turns it over in the D zone like they did vs. CC.

UND a #14...play #3 Texas A&M in College Station. Tough draw especially when you consider location to boot.

Louisville a #4 seed? Seriously!?!? The Shockers got bent over with their bracket. NDSU will stay within 10...for a half...then it gets ugly. Aztecs... sleeper alert! Virginia is as weak of #1 seed there has been in awhile. Sparty is the sexy pick but I like Arizona to cut the nets down.

For team that can't transition well out of the D zone I play Thompson. OD IMO isn't a top 6 but Pattyn back on his line makes OD top 6 by default. Panz has to play after last night.

From a 1st hand account the last 2 nights UND is far and away the better team but if CC scores first again tonight................

The NCHC upsets in the 1st round did us no favors...unless one considers next weekend a UND "home" series at Target with the 3 other team there...provided a win vs CC tonight.

This...^^^^^^! It is what it is unfortunately due to all factors. But 3-3 in last 6. Spotting CC a 2 goal lead 2 straight nights at home. Having to play tonight due to a bad bounce goal, super soft goal and a bantam giveaway in front of your own net OT goal. And this squad now has to win 3 in a row just get into the NCAAs? I would be shocked if UND doesn't pull out a win tonight. Then it is basically a "home" series next weekend at the Target with the 4 remaining team. I should really like our chance in these next 3 but.....................the better team didn't win last night. It's hockey!
