  1. Johnson out longterm with injury, so UND adds a new goalie to roster: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/with-kaleb-johnson-sidelined-longterm-und-adds-goalie-to-roster?fbclid=IwY2xjawGV56JleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHTcFH2VypR_8VbKUpidFc_PqhyDtDE169xg1ntPB8boDQBbTjosZ8rJ3dQ_aem_t-DMn5Cw9clobQeb-B94xQ He got called up from the club team! Sweet.
  2. NCHC opener for both teams. UMD coming off a bye week. UND coming off a brutal series out east. Both teams have 3-4 records entering this series, but UMD has played a weaker schedule. Two wins against Stonehill and one against UML. James and Shaugabay have 10 of the teams 21 goals. Pionk with 8 assists already from the blueline. This is a huge series for UND. Starts with figuring out if we can get any players back from injury. Getting Berg back (sounds likely) would be massive. Also, I'm really hoping that at least 1-2 of the injured dmen are able to make it back so that we're not forced to play a forward at D just to fill a roster spot. I'd hope to see Hobie to start on Friday and the boys can get him his first win of the 24/25 season.
  3. Was hoping that Hobie would take the goalie reins with his chance tonight, but seems like both he and TJ let in some softies this weekend. Goalie battle is still alive...really hoping that one of them starts stringing together some good games in a row. Hopefully starting next weekend.
  4. Ha! A game he'll want to forget, for sure.
  5. That goal was all him. Despite a pretty horrid offensive team showing, Jammer, James, and Boisvert had their chances. Those three stood out more than the others.
  6. That sounds pretty accurate. Some really good UND teams haven't swept UMD in Duluth. And DU is rolling teams right now, and making it look easy.
  7. No worries man, hope your recovery goes ok. I've been there...dealt with kidney stones three times in my life so far. One of those things you wouldn't wish upon anyone. Take care!
  8. We travel to UMD next weekend...DU is the following weekend.
  9. Hopefully a few of these injured players can make it back for the Duluth series.
  10. I'm sure there's still an ENG to look forward to.
  11. Cornell has more goals this period than UND has shots. Brutal 3rd.
  12. Geez, they only have 5 shot attempts. Wth. Get it together during intermission and score one on the PP.
  13. Another kill at least. The only bright spot this period.
  14. At least the team was pressing and creating chances, unlike whatever the heck this is we're watching this weekend.
  15. Only a 2, so Cornell loses their timeout at least. Doubtful that they'll need it though.
  16. For sure. Cornell challenging for a major? Maybe a major for embellishing.
  17. Just painful offensive performance against these defensive minded teams like Mankato and Cornell. Expect more of this against BSU as well? Hard to watch.
  18. That first period last Fri was very good. Showed what this team is capable of doing, but for whatever reason can't do that often.
