This is like a never-ending debate. If we have too many players that stay only 2 years, then we hear that we need more 4yr role players that develop experience. If we have too many role players, then we need to recruit more blue chippers. I think Hakstol has done a good job of recruiting a mix of both.
In regards to Eidsness, yes he's had a rough stretch here of giving up an untimely/soft goal recently, but to say that he has peaked when he has only 1.5 years under his belt is a reach IMO. Less than a year ago he was backstopping this team to a MacNaughton Cup. I haven't given up hope on him or Dell yet. I wouldn't mind seeing Dell get a game this weekend just to see what he can do in a hostile opposing building.
