I think if UND ends up #2-#4 overall and UMN stays a 4 seed...I agree that they end up in Fargo. If UND ends up #1 overall, then I don't think we see UMN first round, they'll get the AHA auto. I could either see UMN missing the tourney entirely, or moving up enough to be a 3 seed. All those teams on the bubble are so close together...

Hopefully UND can keep playing well, and if MSUM falters a little we could take over the #1 seed. Playing RMU in the 1st round sounds way more appealing than playing the other tough teams that are currently 4 seeds. Honestly, Moy's original bracket was good and had perfect bracket integrity: East Regional (Providence): 14 Minnesota vs. 3 Boston University 11 Boston College vs. 6 Michigan Tech Northeast Regional (Manchester): 13 Quinnipiac vs. 4 Omaha 12 Michigan vs. 5 Minnesota-Duluth Midwest Regional (South Bend): 16 Robert Morris vs. 1 Minnesota State 9 Denver vs. 8 Bowling Green West Regional (Fargo): 15 Massachusetts-Lowell vs. 2 North Dakota 10 Providence vs. 7 Miami West regional is sold out regardless with UND there...so there's no reason to move another fanbase that travels well (UMN) into that regional as well. Tickets would be impossible (or even more so). East regional would still be good for attendance with BC/BU there.

That's really the only selling point. That, and maybe being able to join a program at their entry into D1. This is not a hockey town, that's for sure. Anyone coming from Canada or the Midwest or New England will miss the hockey culture/outdoor ice/etc...I certainly know that I do. I can definitely see ASU becoming decent in D1 within 5 years or so...but I just don't see them becoming a power.

Speaking of awful, those Miami jerseys are hideous, and when combined with those horrible socks...ouch. Simply horrendous. Also, remember when Harvard was threatening for a #1 seed? They're in a mega-freefall right now. After starting the season 10-1-2, they are now 12-8-2...so they've gone 2-7 over their last nine games. They are down to #15t in the Pairwise. Ouch.

Still an uphill battle to make the NCAA's, but that win certainly helped. A sweep would do wonders, but you know UMN is going to be ticked. Plus, when was the last time UMN was swept? Makes you wonder what the heck was going on earlier this season. If they can beat UMN like this, how were they losing to Syracuse and being swept by BSU?

Wow, did not expect that, excellent job ladies!!
 -
	I like that plan.

I really don't see them ever landing the WJC, attendance would be horrible when compared with other US options. That said, I bet they could get a F4 bid. Especially now that ASU is NCAA. If Tampa can get a bid, Phx certainly could. Would be nice to have it so close!

I didn't mind the Target Center. It was certainly no X, but I went into the tourney with the mindset that I knew it wasn't going to be...so myself and my two friends that came with me all had a fine time.

Looks like a ton of the schools are messed up for the collegiate kids. Unless Eichel, Hanifin, Werenski, etc all still play for the US U18/17 teams.

Just like last year, flying up from AZ with a couple friends. Should be a blast again!

That sounds great, but I would put money on his 3rd being a wraparound.

I was flipping back and forth between the UND/UNO and the UW/UMN games, and the difference in PK (and overall play as well) was crazy. Both UW and UMN were essentially just standing there on the PK...waiting for the other team to do anything.
 -
That was a dominant OT by UND. I don't even think that UNO got it into UND's zone the entire OT session.
 -
Awesome. Cool how UND didn't even need a 5x3 PP in OT to win it. UNO is a good team, but I think UND was the better team and outplayed them for good chunks in both games. Massa won't stay "hot" for every game, and with how many shots UNO gives up, that could come to bite them in a one-and-done tourney.

NCAA violations, like on the NCAA Football video games.

That's one way to voice your displeasure with the stripes.

I don't think anything happens with Lucia for awhile though. UMN was just in the national title game last season. I don't get what's going on with them this year...they brought back a ton from that team...
 -
Rumpel and Wilcox both look like crap. No defense from either side. Even if UMN makes the NCAA's, I don't think they're going too far.
 -
	1. UND was 2 pipes and a couple of lucky bounces on Massa away from winning this game by 2-3 goals. IMO they came ready to play. 2. I highly doubt that Blais will win a national title in Omaha. He puts together some quality teams, but none have done well in the postseason. Plus, he'll be retiring soon.
