Don't forget Forbort! He's shown a great knack for getting pucks on (and in) the net already this season. Just wrists them from the point instead of winding up a giant slapper. Put him on one of the points.

Wow has Forbort progressed a lot since last season. He is very calm with the puck, makes great decisions, and seems to have worked on his shot from the point. Not only is he getting it to net, but he's finding the back of it plenty in the early going here (if you include the exhibition games). I like what I'm seeing from our entire d-corps.

I've heard other people say that too. Me, personally, I love playing the off-wing. Enables me to skate up the boards, cut to the middle of the slot and shoot forehand while the dman screens the goalie. Works all the time in my adult league.

How many decades did you have to go back in the Gopher schedule archive to compile this list?

Fairbanks lost to Canisius tonight. I really hope that we can beat them, regardless of how depleted our lineup is.

No, it sure won't. Especially against two teams like MSUM and OSU. They should realistically be 3-1 or 4-0 at this point. Last year they had a bad habit of losing games that they should have won...it appears that has not been corrected as of yet. I think this team has a very good shot at some hardware at the end of the year...but they need to step it up a bit. Getting Karvinen back should hopefully help.

Wonder if they're taking it a bit easy defensively since its an exhibition and they don't want to risk more injuries already.

My DVD recorded last weeks game. Awesome. Glad for the win, but 7 goals allowed in 2 exhibition games is a bit of a concern. How did we look defensively? I take it Gothberg let in more goals? Thanks...would've been nice to be able to watch this one...

Agreed. On paper, they look like the two strongest teams. I feel that we have a ton more depth than last year...if we can stay healthy, we have as good a shot as anyone else at unseating those two teams. I want a full season of seeing what Rocco can do. That should be exciting after seeing glimpses during his four games last year. Can you imagine this team with Nelson still on it? Wonder if he feels any regrets about signing now with the lockout...

All lies. Dean Blais would have never allowed this to happen. If he would have found out about such a party, all players of the team would have been kicked off the team and replaced with a different overage Canadian. How dare you tell this obvious fabrication of details of a Dean Blais-led team. It never happened and you know it...he had complete control of his team, unlike this Dave Hakstol fool. If Hakstol doesn't kick Kristo off the team and take his first born son, then I have lost complete respect for him. Carry on.
