Very cool to see. Yeah, he definitely got them fired up at the end there, very cool.
-
They can't do much worse than they did this year in that regard!
-
Miami should be a tough team next year with all three of them returning. Of course, everyone thought that this year too. Wonder if they made a "pact" like when Duncan/Oshie/Chorney, etc all returned.
-
Agreed on Czarnik since he is not very big. Coleman's injury that cost him a good chunk of the season probably swayed him a bit...he probably feels like he wants another shot at a good season with how much he missed.
-
I don't think you need to have an "in" to know that.
-
Nanne doesn't know squat...he didn't even think Eruzione was good enough to make 1980 USA Olympic team.
-
Yep. That's why I stopped posting over on USCHO. Used to be a very regular poster over there, but it just got tiresome with all the trolls...every fanbase had them. Agreed. If a bunch of UND trolls go over there, then we'll probably see (even more) UMN trolls over here.
-
He'll dive at the end though trying to draw the penalty.

Somehow I knew it would come down to this. Honestly, UMN and BC look to be the class of the collegiate ranks this year. Both teams can be very dominant when on their A game. That said, they've both shown some chinks in their armor quite recently with UMN losing in the first game of the B10 tourney and BC not even making their tourney. Sioux vs Gophers Anything can happen... Go Sioux!!
-
Indeed. Well said, sagard!

Then we know for certain that it was targeted at you!

Hot goalie?

A Frozen Four run. Who woulda thunk it? Especially since the season already ended way back in early January on that Canada exhibition games roadtrip.
-
I read that as bleach of decorum...must be all the Gopher hair highlights messing with me.
-
They always support their team!
-
Darn high school kids. Why not just grow a playoff beard like the cool teams?
-
Ferris leads the nation in penalty minutes this season. I would be more confident of a Sioux win tomorrow if they can break though with a PPG or two.

Haha, my house. I live just outside of Goodyear.

Game day. Go Sioux!

I was surprised at some of these CHN picks: http://www.collegehockeynews.com/reports/ncaa/picksRegionals.php While both BC and UMN have very tough regionals, I still would think they are the favorites to advance to the F4. But only 4 people selected them to advance. And UW seems to be the favorite in our regional...but 2 people picked Colgate to advance? I know they've beaten FSU a couple times this season, but I don't see them reaching the F4. We'll see I guess.

UND has already taken home its first championship of the season: http://www.nchchockey.com/news_article/show/370065?referrer_id=878553 Time to add to that!
-
That's very cool! Congrats to Clarkson!

I was there for that regional as I lived in Madison at the time. The Sioux beat Princeton the game before, but did not play well at all. The shots were heavily lopsided to Princeton, but the Sioux capitalized on their chances. We had a lot of UW fans talking smack to us during the first two periods of the UW/UND game with the F4 trip on the line. Oddly enough, they all quieted pretty quickly once the Sioux tied it early in the 3rd. Then when Kozek won it, our whole section of UW fans filed out very quickly with just the Sioux fans going nuts. Great times!

Really? That's weird.

Hopefully the team plays loose against the Badgers, knowing that their season could have easily already been done. If the team can make it by a very talented UW squad, I like their chances to make it to the F4. Not sure if Ferris will have much difficulty with Colgate, but I wasn't that impressed with Ferris in their conference tourney. They do have a very good goalie though.
