  2. Agreed. Union has their huge top line and we're without our two biggest offensive weapons. That said, let's go get 'em UND!
  3. Good planning on Union's part for scheduling UND and BU.
  4. They have work together to take down Taco!
  5. Union has 3 losses at the end of the 1st half. I'd say that makes them a quality club. They'll be a tough team to beat....even tougher knowing that Jost and Boeser will both be out. Northeastern did to MSU what UND should have done.
  6. Princeton is all of a sudden on a tear after starting crappy.
  7. Pics or it didn't happen.
  8. Yes. This 1000x over. Our special teams is ridiculously bad. WMU was essentially trying to give UND the game tonight with all those penalties. Just have the coaches watch some PP film from SCSU or UMN or something...they seem to always have good PP.
  9. Heard the same thing...sounds like it's a done deal.
  10. From Schloss today: Good for him. Would be awesome to see him get some playing time at WJC.
  11. But agreed, we could use another dman recruit...a little light currently.
  12. Expect to see more of this...don't the Badgers have something like 374 recruits lined up for the next 3 seasons? They're handing out scholarship offers like Obama Phones over in Madison.
  13. 19 Shane Gersich–17 Tyson Jost–14 Austin Poganski 25 Joel Janatuinen–22 Rhett Gardner–18 Chris Wilkie 7 Zach Yon–27 Ludvig Hoff–9 Dixon Bowen 26 Cole Smith–10 Johnny Simonson–11 Trevor Olson 20 Gage Ausmus–3 Tucker Poolman 24 Christian Wolanin–6 Colton Poolman 5 Casey Johnson–4 Andrew Peski 33 Cam Johnson 30 Matt Hrynkiw
  14. A defending national champion joke. Not to dismiss PSU at all, but Michigan isn't exactly looking like a powerhouse thus far this season. And before we give the title to the Nittany Lions, we have to remember that they've played 9 of their 14 games against Niagara, Alaska Anchorage, Canisius, Arizona State, and Mercyhurst. That's a brutally easy SOS. It'll be interesting to watch the rest of their season to see how it goes...and to see how far they can make it in the NCAA's.
  15. Schloss posted that Brock is doubtful for the BC game too.
  16. BC beat Northeastern 2-1 tonight, scoring the shorthanded GWG with 23 sec left in the game.
  17. Nice, excellent weekly reminder. It's too bad for the B10 that the PWR also includes SOS in the calculation, which lowers the rank of the B10 teams due to all the AHA opponents they've played. If the season ended today and the top 16 teams were in the dance, NCHC would have 5 teams, including 3 of the #1 seeds. No biased opinion there either, just fact.
  18. From what my sources say, Berry is cutting 75% of the team at semester break and adding recruits from the UND intramural league. The players that are getting cut are trying to get picked up by DIII colleges, which is more appropriate to their talent level. They seemed to be ok last year. And there's not many teams in college hockey that are dominant from day one and roll through the entire season. UND did last year...UW during their last natty...BU during their last title year, etc...but still not overly commonplace.
  19. Certainly not with a national title.
  20. Doesn't help that the injured sniper was in the stands.
  21. At least the other softies meant something.
  22. What a letdown weekend after last weekend's great result against SCSU. Disappointing.
  23. This whole series will haunt UND for the rest of the season with the PWR hit.
