  1. It is now 3-0 after 2. SOG are 39-12.
  2. QU leading 1-0 over ASU after 1 period. QU outshot them 21-5 in that period.
  3. Darn, that would have been huge. On the plus side for non-BU fans is that there is probably a 1-2 year window for those players to make an impact together at the college level. Since all will be 1st/2nd round players, all will be gone after 1 or 2 years.
  4. Hot goalie syndrome in Mankato tonight as well. MSUM outshot Omaha 40-18, but lost 2-0. Ouch.
  5. Boeser had 8 SOG, which is more than Maine had as a team thru 2 periods. That's crazy. Once that line starts clicking and Tomek gets healthy, this has the potential to be a scary team.
  6. Sorry, maybe not those items listed. Less hot opposing goalie? Maybe that would have done it.
  7. Agreed. Is it too early for the Fire Berry threads? He should have had them shoot more and hit the goalie less. It's common sense!
  8. Ends in tie. They deserved better with how much they out-played and out-shot them. The Schmaltz/Boeser line sounded downright dominant.
  9. It sounds like Boeser could have had two hat tricks tonight with all the chances he is getting.
  10. Maine PPG ties it up. Live chat says it was a mess up by Stecher.
  11. It's very small...at least on my computer.
  12. UAA and ASU now tied 1-1 in the 2nd...ASU goal scored by former Sioux recruit Jack Rowe.
  13. WMU beats Ferris. Good for NCHC. Providence crushing Miami. Not good for NCHC. Can't wait to see how ASU does against UAA tonight. UAA is certainly no powerhouse, but usually plays strong at home.
  14. Nice, right after they killed off the 5x3 PK and it went to 5x4.
  15. Ouch, they made it sound like it wasn't too long-term. I guess not. 13 Mike Gornall 16 Brock Boeser 18 Chris Wilkie 19 Shane Gersich 21 Danys Chartrand 22 Rhett Gardner 24 Christian Wolanin 25 Joel Janatuinen 28 Hayden Shaw 31 Matej Tomek A few notes about the numbers: None of the returning players changed numbers.Goalies continue to stay away from No. 1. The last to wear it was Jean-Philippe Lamoureux in 2007-08.Now that Wade Murphy has left, No. 7 is blank. Murphy was the first player to wear No. 7 and not be an All-American since the mid-90s. Travis Roche, Brandon Bochenski, T.J. Oshie and Danny Kristo wore it consecutively. The only players who will be wearing the same number as they did last season are Gardner and Shaw. Many of the others wore 30 or higher, which UND doesn’t do.- See more at: http://undhockey.areavoices.com/#sthash.EYpNUWtu.dpuf
  16. That's a decent selection right there. Jake should do pretty well. Congrats Jake!
  17. Fabbro would certainly get his fair share of playing time next season with all the potential departures.
  18. Honestly, were those UNO fans actually going to even use them?
  19. I wouldn't be surprised at that. Seems like DU always has a really good offensive dman or two.
  20. Haha. Comparing any arena's facilities to Michigan's Yost is humorous. Someone should give Bill Burke a tour of the Ralph.
  21. Certainly doesn't hurt that we have 4 of his teammates including his friend/roommate Jost talking in his ear about UND.
  22. Wow, absolutely huge first pickup for Berry and Co! Welcome aboard Tyson. Let's get your buddy Fabbro now too.
  23. Idalski certainly is good at getting these high-end Euro girls to commit!
  24. Agreed. This seems like a path leading directly to UW next season.
  25. Must have been a pretty eventful and fun company picnic.
