Schloss commented on Twitter that Rizzo is "almost for sure" headed back to Penticton next year. And that he'd have more info on that soon.

This is where Berry needs to make the hard decisions and earn his keep to make this team better. Rizzo is more talented than a couple upperclassmen, so it would seem logical to cut an under-performing upperclassman to make room for Rizzo/Michaud to both come in.

Agreed. I wonder if this pushes Rizzo back (or anyone)? Someone posted that Berry had mentioned that Rizzo might go back for one more year of juniors after all his injuries.

Posted in other thread, oops... Nice! I was hoping we'd land him after he announced he was transferring. He'll instantly provide a boost at center, a position where we lost 2 seniors. Big get (for one year)! Should make the CC series more interesting. He would have been UND's top goal and point scorer this year.
