I'm guessing they get outscored by a minimum of 2-3 goals each night against Duluth. This team couldn't sweep Miami and couldn't even get an even strength goal against one of the worst defensive teams in the country. I honestly anticipate starting the NCHC conference play with a 1-7 record after the Duluth and Denver series. I'd love for this team to get back on track, but their next couple NCHC opponents won't make that easy at all.

I bet they don’t shutout any other teams though.

On the positive side, season is still young. I'm sure the games against UMD and SCSU will be much worse to watch.

You could honestly see this WMU goalie performance coming a mile away. All that was talked about before the game was how crappy the WMU goalies were. So of course when they go up against the very potent UND offense, they pitch a shutout.

A shutout would raise this WMU goalies stats to .834 I believe.

Agreed. WMU has been putting up big numbers for goals and UND lately has made a lot of goalies look "hot". Hopefully the UND defense is solid and the WMU goalies continue with their sieve ways.

Yes, and the games are too long and boring. Basketball is much more exciting! I love how the last 2min of the game goes on for 29 minutes!

Didn't realize there was a series this weekend. No chatter about Western and it's game day!

Never would have thought we'd see 5 wins in a row after watching the BSU series. Really impressive turnaround by this team in only a few short weeks. If Jones even pots 1 or 2 of his posts and UND gets some of their early chances, this game is a blowout. Hope for more of the same tomorrow night! Go UND!
