I just voted and it's now 36%/64% with Schmaltz trailing. Definitely shenanigans afoot when that goal is trailing. EDIT: for sure...only 325 votes for the Moore/Guentzel vote, but 1200+ for the Schmaltz one. -
East Regional (Albany): 13 Minnesota-Duluth vs. 4 Providence 11 Harvard vs. 5 Boston College Northeast Regional (Worcester): 16 Robert Morris vs. 2 Quinnipiac 9 Boston University vs 7 Yale Midwest Regional (Cincinnati): 14 Michigan Tech vs. 3 St. Cloud State 10 Notre Dame vs. 8 Michigan West Regional (St. Paul): 15 Minnesota vs. 1 North Dakota 12 Massachusetts-Lowell vs. 6 Denver It seems every week that Quinnipiac is getting the easiest path to the F4. This will all look quite different if UMN doesn't win the B10 conference tourney.
-
Well, they do win the B10 regular season title. That's quite impressive.
-
Michigan swooning? That'd be pretty bad to get swept by OSU... Hand the title to UMN for conference. I just hope that UMN doesn't win the B10 playoff and get an autobid.

Here's highlights from tonight: http://www.undsports.com/mediaPortal/player.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&id=5121618

Since the DU trio only got 1 pt each tonight, Boeser won the NCHC scoring title. Not too bad for a lowly freshman.
-
Nice senior tribute again, as always. Now the fun begins. Nice comeback win tonight.
-
SCSU ends up with 4 SHG against CC tonight. Geez.
-
I think it happened last night. Cyz took his place on the CBS line in the 3rd period.
-
Hopefully he is just being held out due to the game not being "super" important. They said that he skated for warmups, so it can't be too horrible.

MSU leads UMN 2-0 after 1.
-
Running out of time...down 2-0 with 17min left in game.

https://twitter.com/cjzero/status/706246353228308481/video/1 Suspended one game. Got in one good slash and then a couple spears. Nice.
-
I'd have taken Morelli too...he's turned it on a bit in the 2nd half for them.

A broken knee cap is a hell of a long way from the heart, Chyz!

East Regional (Albany): 13 Omaha vs. 4 Providence 11 Harvard vs. 5 Boston College Northeast Regional (Worcester): 16 Minnesota State vs. 1 Quinnipiac 10 Boston University vs 8 Yale Midwest Regional (Cincinnati): 15 Robert Morris vs. 3 St. Cloud State 9 Notre Dame vs. 6 Michigan West Regional (St. Paul): 14 Minnesota vs. 2 North Dakota 12 Massachusetts-Lowell vs. 7 Denver That would certainly be the Bracket of Death for UND once again should something like that happen. Cincy would come down to whether UM's horrible defense/goalie could stop SCSU's lethal PP (it wouldn't)...and then if UM could score enough goals to offset them (they might). Worcester is the easiest bracket...three teams that have been up and down this season and one team that loves to tie but is somehow holding onto that #1 slot still. They won't be able to tie with a spot to the F4 on the line. I would think the winner of the BC/Harvard game advances in Albany. I can't see PC making another run this year. I love this time of year...games are starting to mean something!
-
Hopefully we can get him to commit to UND once he opens his recruitment back up.
-
I think I remember reading that they would announce their conference affiliation shortly after their season ends. Something about wanting the recruits to know which league they'd be in. So we should find out shortly.
-
Having two good players is hardly a recipe for being the #1 team in the nation.
-
I would pay face value with my tourney package.
-
Racine doesn't look to be a very good tender...and their defense has shown even against those bad teams to be a bit suspect. That 2nd goal tonight for UMN was similar to the Frazee/Bina goal but just from the blue line instead of the opposing goal line. Racine didn't look sharp at all.
-
3-1 UMD at the end of 2.
-
UMD up 3-1 now with 7min left in 2nd. C'mon, close this out Duluth!
