NCHC offensive and defensive POTW?

Last night they were able to close it down to a one goal deficit before the 1st period intermission. Not tonight. This one is <feeling> like it won't go our way.

Well, this PP will either swing momentum to Lindenwood or get UND back in the game.

Yeah, forcing yourselves to come back multiple goals two nights in a row....hmmm.

Not scoring in all those chances in the first 5min, then Lindenwood found some legs.

That would have been a sweet way for Owen to score his 1st. The kid is due.

Unless the coaches are keeping an open conversation with them on the players that are for sure leaving and potentially leaving for next season. Even if no players leave early for the pros, there are still enough seniors and grad transfers on the team that lineup spots will be for sure open for next season. We'll see what happens.

Upset alert- #38 Northeastern about to beat #11 UConn Also, OSU handily beating #13 MSU in the 2nd...that'll help UND if that holds.

No Moore. Johnson & Kunz sit both games this weekend. I feel bad for Matteo...kid had such a strong frosh season and has shown flashes of regaining that form recently. Hoping none of these guys jump ship into the portal, as I could see all of them being valuable assets to the team in future years.

Tomorrow a big game of course, would be great to get back above .500 (and stay there?). Lindenwood goalie made some fantastic saves to keep the score so close. Got downright lucky on a couple of them. Hopefully tomorrow he's less lucky.

Alaska's win over DU pushed them ahead of us in the PWR and dropped us back to #19. RPI is tight on the two teams directly ahead of us though, so we could move up a couple spots if things fall right. UMass .5332 UAF .5322 UND .5312 ND .5309

Harvard was trailing Princeton 3-0 at the end of 2nd and ended up winning 4-3 in OT. A loss there would have dropped them nicely.

NCHC continues to struggle OOC. That won’t help come tourney time.

No change in our PWR as of yet, but closing that RPI to some teams in front of us. Two teams slightly ahead of us, MSU and Prov, both lost.

Turn that frown upside down, a win is a win. The 1st half of the season we lost a ton of 1 goal games. This one went our way. Tomorrow hopefully we see the UND team that controlled play for the final 55 minutes.

Only three penalties in that game. All three penalties have resulted in a PPG.
