Yes for sure. He looked great. Hopefully he can keep it rolling. Last year he started off hot in the pod than cooled off a bit until towards the end of the season. He’s such a fun player to watch with his constant motor.

Highly coveted recruit back a few years ago. Originally committed to UND and then had some injury issues over the next couple years. Not sure if UND wanted to push him back or what, but he decommited to go to DU. He’ll be a good college player.

Tough luck for CC, outshooting SLU 41-14 tonight but losing 2-1. Would have been nice for the NCHC to get that win, and for them to open their new arena with a W. Owen Power had 16 points last season in 26 games. He already has 4 pts (1g/3a) after one game this season.

Rizzo with a goal and assist in his debut for DU tonight. There's one I wish UND would have been able to hold onto as a recruit.

Both players you mentioned played very well tonight. Them having big seasons will play a large part in seeing how good this team can be in the end come playoff time.

CHN has us at #5 and UMN at #1. CHN I feel has us a little high to start the season...same thing with UMD, who they have at #3. By the end of the year UND could be a potential title challenger, but I feel we could have some kinks to work out with all the holes in the lineup to fill.

My feeling is that the arenas are just trying to make it as easy as possible for them to still be able to host events such as this in the current environment. As much of a distraction/inconvenience that it may be, it seems more and more venues are moving toward these types of policies, so if your goal is to not show any medical info to anyone, it may become more difficult for you to go to any sporting event. Hopefully all this crap clears up soon (not likely), but I'd rather see them do something like this rather than just cancel the game entirely and we don't have any hockey to watch at all.
