No doubt. You're looking at the potential WCHA champs right there. And if they keep having a good year, that sweep will be big for UND's PWR.

I'm not clinging to what happened last year (other than the sweet Natty) and I don't dislike the B10. I merely stated that the combined OOC records since 13/14 may be more relevant that the 1.5 month span of this season for determining "strength" of league. And I agree that the sample size since 13/14 is small, but it's certainly a much larger sample size than just this year. Regardless, I was just curious...not looking to downplay what either league has done so far this year. Penn State has certainly started strong and looks to potentially challenge for the title this year.

Only thing I worry about with SCSU is that they usually have a very good PP. And UND has shown a tendency in this early season to struggle on the PK. That has me worried for next weekend.

What are the OOC records for both the NCHC and the B10 since the realignment? That would be a better indication of which is the stronger league rather than comparing numbers for 1.5 months of the current season.

Is Gambrell back from injury for DU or is he still out?

Brad's blog says that Tucker will play this weekend against DU.

It is strange. I can't believe that Tomek didn't play a game against Canisius or RPI. Now throwing him in without game action against DU or SCSU wouldn't be wise. Same with Rinks if he's really the backup over Tomek.

Tough series to call. With how the last two series have gone for UND, hoping for sweep but more than likely split? Just got to win a game to break out of the funk. And get Poolman back ok. And get Cam back to last season form or give Tomek a shot. And score PP goals. And not allow 17 PPG a weekend.

Cam has had better nights. Defensive coverage in our zone was horrendous. Our PP sucks almost as much as our PK. Other than that, there were a couple positives. Jost with his best game in a UND sweater. Good to see Boeser back on the score sheet after getting blanked at Duluth. And Poolman with a beauty of a move to get around the defender on his goal. Go get 'em tomorrow, boys. Did Tomek even make the trip?

I loved that postgame with Berenson where he lit into the refs because UND got 8 PP (Michigan got 5). It wasn't the refs fault that UND scored on 5 of those 8 PPs!
