Ha, got it, thanks for the rundown. Yeah, I can only imagine how much pressure these kids are under to perform well. Just from themselves, coaching staff, etc...let alone us idiots on the keyboards. I had a computer class with Matt Jones when I was at UND...was probably 2003 (?) or so right after I had joined ss.com, and I sat directly behind him. He was on siouxsports literally every day looking on the forum.

Still can't find any info at all about Mitchell Miller and where he might be playing. He's way too talented to just hang it up at 20 yo. You'd think overseas would be an option.

UND has allowed 5, 6, 3, and 4 goals in their last four games. Unless the defense turns a serious corner this week, I don’t see them only allowing one goal to ASU. I’ll go with a 5-4 game, with hopefully our boys in green taking the W (in regulation!).

Here's the Kaiser penalty, which was essentially a baseball swing of his stick to the UW player's head: I haven't seen video of the Howard penalty, but it must have been pretty bad to warrant a two game suspension.

That announcing crew was pretty horrible. I've never heard the announcers complain about the officiating so much...not even Ciskie complains that much! That whole stretch in the 2nd period...every UND hit should have been a penalty, but no mention of the cross-checks to Senden after his goal, etc. It was humorous listening to them whine about the Pitlick and the Cooley penalties though. UND was working over Knies pretty good during the Kleven major...hit him good a couple times.

Looks like there's still a decent number of upper level tickets still available on the arena website. A few lower level. I'm guessing 80% UND fans, 15% ASU fans, 5% random.

ASU seems to have some consistency problems. Swept by UMD (UMD's only wins this season) Split with BSU Split with Colgate Swept CC Maybe it depends on which ASU team shows up. Got to capitalize on the PP, as ASU likes to take penalties. Hopefully the boys can bring a better effort than last year against PSU.

You’re missing the point. You come onto a UND message board and immediately start posting about nothing but the “overage Canadians” argument that Gopher fans have been blasting UND about for years. There were many posts on earlier in this thread talking about how much better UMN was playing and the skill difference at this point in the season, by many UND fans, myself included. But you ignored those and only replied to a sarcastic post about the old Canadians. That’s not coming on here to discuss hockey, that’s coming on here to troll.

Yeah I’d guess portal is our best bet if we can’t fill out the forward group with our current recruits. Perron for sure coming but after that not sure if any others are ready.
