  1. Corrected.
  2. With the final result showing a 5-1 UND win, it looks like that game was on Jan 1st, 1958 at The Barn. UND would get it's first NCAA tourney appearance later that same year (as a member of the WIHL), where they faced that same Harvard team in the semi-final...this time beating them 9-1 to advance to the national title game. They unfortunately lost that title game to DU (Denver's first NCAA title) though. UND would win it's first NCAA title the following year in 1959, this time playing as an Independent though and beating Michigan State in OT. https://fightinghawks.com/sports/mens-ice-hockey/opponent-history/harvard-university/71
  3. Gaber listed as one of the top undrafted college players: https://www.flohockey.tv/articles/12212785-top-undrafted-college-free-agents-for-the-nhl-collin-graf-tops-list?utm_medium=socialmedia&utm_source=facebook&utm_term=thumbnail.top-undrafted-college-free-agents-for-the-nhl-collin-graf-tops-list&utm_content=article&utm_campaign=aha&contract_id=0061n00000vcyv4qan&fbclid=IwAR3aCxU8W4y99UfM4XpOrmDAiXWUC6QzBrOji97MP9kTzSqdDMR6RegYQFI
  4. Looks like Stew was a bit off with his "when UND calls everything goes out the window" comment. Boser to ASU, announced today.
  5. Yeah he’s currently tied with Boeser and Brink.
  6. New USCHO Bracketology is out: https://www.uscho.com/2024/03/06/bracketology-getting-closer-to-seasons-end-the-umass-conundrum-is-solved-but-other-issues-lie-ahead-in-seeding-the-ncaa-field/ UMass moving up to a #3 seed solves the issue of swapping #1 seeds around to place them in their host spot. Providence Regional 1. Boston College 2. Quinnipiac 3. Maine 4. Bemidji State (or CCHA champion) Springfield, Mass. Regional 1. Boston University 2. Minnesota 3. Massachusetts (regional host) 4. St. Cloud State Sioux Falls, S.D. Regional 1. North Dakota 2. Michigan State 3. Colorado College 4. RIT (or AHA champion) Maryland Heights, Mo. Regional 1. Denver 2. Wisconsin 3. Providence 4. Michigan I'd take that bracket as a UND fan.
  7. UNO has only been swept once all season (against DU)...I'd love to see it as well, but wouldn't be surprised if we drop some points, especially coming the week after the Penrose clinch.
  8. They mentioned during the game and during the postgame that if it would have been a more important game, he would have been playing. I'm not surprised that he's sitting against UNO (and maybe Miami as well), but I'd hope that he'd be back playing his regular shift by Frozen Faceoff (assuming the boys take out Miami, of course).
  9. I like the one "more PC" lady on the right that is just giving a thumbs down instead of the bird.

  11. Congrats to Ludvig and OMac!
  12. CC has as much trouble with DU as UND does with CC.
  13. Kind of surprising to see Michael Emerson's stats being not as strong as last year once he left UND to head back to the USHL. I thought with him being a year older than he'd put up some big numbers and then transfer to another school. He's not doing poorly...just not as well as he did the season before he came to UND. 22/23 - 1.07 pts/gm 23/24 (so far) - 0.81 pts/gm
  14. He's probably just waiting to score that first goal until we play Michigan in the NCAA's.
  15. We’ll really be old when we’re watching Jacob Blake, Jackson’s son, lighting it up at UND in a few years.
  16. Another nice advantage of 1st is that UND will have last line change throughout the NCHC playoffs. That'll be big if we have to play DU again with their tough top line.
  17. The two NCHC teams that Mich jumped both needed to lose tonight for us to raise the Penna. So I'll take that, but agree that hopefully Michigan moves out of the tourney in these last couple weeks.
  18. The team reversed the swoon?
  19. Hopefully the team stays motivated next weekend against UNO…still tourney seeding to think about. Great year to finish first though, playing Miami in the first round is far preferred.
  20. I think he was just getting emotional.
  21. They said earlier that it wasn't serious and he was day-to-day. So hopefully just precautionary.
  22. 7 goals on 23 shots for DU.
  23. They lifted it in 16 as well. I think it was the Frattin year when they said they would only touch the national title trophy.
  24. Doesn't look like they're delaying anything. It's on the ice.
