Somehow still 2nd in the NCHC after that disaster of a weekend. 4 pts behind 1st place SCSU and 4 pts ahead of WMU. All teams have played 8 games. 5th in the PWR.

If we lose the Penrose by a handful of points, we can look back at this weekend and say “what if?”. Not a good weekend of hockey for UND. All the elite forwards were non-existent…makes it tough to win games. The good news is that it is only December. And they have a few weeks off to stew on the missed opportunities of the last three games.

Don't see this too often, fortunately. Midseason departure for UW it seems. Soph dman Tyson Jugnauth looks to be leaving for the WHL. It's not like he wasn't getting playing time for UW.

A sweep would be great...but CC is a quality team that could certainly take a game if UND is not playing as well as they can. If UND plays up to their potential, I see a sweep heading into their break. Let's keep that #1 in the PWR rolling...

After the big DU weekend.... Every team in the NCHC has now played 6 league games. UND is in 2nd place, 2 pts behind SCSU and 5 pts ahead of DU. More importantly, they stay at #1 in the PWR even with the OT loss. They were #6 entering the weekend, so a very nice bump up there.

Sucks to miss out on the sweep, but 4pts in the NCHC race. Still think that UND is the better team.
