People in our section were covering their ears in anticipation (once we realized that it was intentional and not a malfunction). It was BAD.

Maybe try Yon with the Euros? Peski was better last night. I think the D pairings and ice time were better managed too. Maybe Gage is hurt?

We had the best defensive corps in the country last year. Three left early to go pro, Ladue and Stecher had great NHL camps and will most likely get some time with the Kings and Canucks this year. Lots of potential in this year's group, will be fun to watch them improve.

Raise ticket prices? Really? So the "revenue" sports can support the others more than they already do? Except for men's hockey, I thought increasing attendance was the goal.

I understand taking a knee and assumed at the time SUU would do the same. On the replay it looks like the SUU kid was looking to hit someone and it ended up being a blindside hit to the head. Definitely A personal foul. Maybe more.

I thought one positive of the committee involvement would be info. available about costs and revenue for each sport. Has that been released somewhere?

More tickets available for hockey this weekend because it's the Hall of Fame game. Not included in season tickets unless you specify that and pay for them. I think there will be big walk up numbers for FB on Saturday.

Has anyone asked (publicly) how/why the sports that were "protected" were chosen?

The X is available?? Then why would the NCHC even consider the Target Center! The Xcel is a hockey first venue, and a very nice one at that. St. Paul is a hockey town, and we've always enjoyed the area around the arena before and after games. If the vast majority of players and fans prefer the X, that should take precedence over some kind of "branding" opportunity for the league in Minneapolis. Lots of folks I know who travel all over during the season and postseason are talking about skipping the NCHC tourney. If UND fans don't support it, who will?

How about if the offense starts the game fast, aggressive, and confident. Sure, there always individual mistakes that folks can point to, but you can't waste all of the first half possessions that we have and expect to win.

First round draft picks in the NCHC?

Were the two long TD passes for BG identical? (Saw one, not the other.) I'd expect upcoming opponents to try to expose whatever made those work.
