Not to make you Vikings fans feel any worse, but actually, it's been three games they've been ahead at halftime.

If you want to win Super Bowls, then yes, you have to have a QB who is more than just a game manager. But, the Vikes don't have one, so someone who CAN manage the game is your next best option. McNabb has been sufficient in that manner considering the short amount of time he had to learn the offense. He can't go win you a game by himself, but if you mix him in with a $100M running back, and a decent defense, the Vikes should be better than 0-4. That's why I think it comes down to the coaching. Let's face it, the Vikes don't have a winning roster right now, so to expect McNabb to come in and make the team a title contender was just not very thoughtful. However, the Vikes should have at least a win right now.

Yes, I purchased the package. They were also in 109. It's hard to believe this, but these will be my first hockey games at The Ralph since spring of 2009. I've made it to a bunch of road games because they worked out better travel-wise, but I'm pumped to go back to The Ralph, which hopefully will be rockin'.

Goon, that quote has a mistake. It says the Sioux lost prematurely at the hands of the Michigan Wolverines. The Sioux only lost because of Hunwick. UND outclassed Michigan in pretty much all other aspects.

I don't agree with everything Rocco says, but I just ignore his "preaching" and it doesn't offend me. Maybe others should try it. As far as I'm concerned, he's at UND to get an education and to grow as a hockey player. That's what I will judge him by.

Between 30 run plans and 30 pass plays Peterson got the ball 24 times. I think that's a pretty fair amount, especially when you're down late in the game and need to pass. The problem is, Adrian isn't running like he used to and it's a passing league. Not many teams who run the ball a lot are going to win a ton of games, unless they are running to protect a lead. The thing is, Donovan hasn't played great, but he's played good enough to win. He's not really turning the ball over much, and is just kind of managing the game. That should be sufficient with a guy like Adrian to win a game against the Chiefs, but like I said, Adrian isn't getting it done. Maybe it's the offensive line. I think it all boils down to the coaching. Leslie Frazier is not a head coach. You can just see it in his demeanor when they show him on the sidelines. He looks lost. Reminds me a bit of Ray Rhodes when he was the Packers head coach.

I liked how the Sioux played with a ton of speed. The freshman class was pretty solid for the most part. Sweeney still hasn't updated his gameday wardrobe.

Just to correct on you Brady's INT's. Only one of them was a real bad break, and that was the ball batted at the line of scrimmage. Two of the others were good, clean picks. The other one that bounced off hands was poorly thrown and off-target. The intended receiver still managed to get his paws on it, but deflected it in the air unintentionally. I'd put that one on Brady as well. It's funny, when Brady was winning Super Bowls, he actually wasn't that great of a QB (Mark Sanchez-esque), but he won. Then he became one of the best QB's in the league, and hasn't won jack since.

Can I pick Lamoureux every game? He's always good for a penalty. I pick Mario in round 1.

The word "Sioux" by itself isn't owned by UND. "The Sioux", "Fighting Sioux", "North Dakota", "UND", "The University of North Dakota" are though. I think you would be safe with anything you want to produce that has "SiouxSports" on it.

I'm not too confident about the Packers playing the Bears in Chicago. The Packers pass rush hasn't exactly been very good, which has allowed Newton and Brees too much time to pick apart a depleted secondary...hence the reason the Saints and Panthers both passed for over 400 so far. It's about the pass rush. Yes, Carimi is injured now, and the Bears o-line was already bad, but both the Saints and Panthers effectively countered the Packers rush. The Packers will get to Cutler a few times, but I think the Bears are going to come out blazing thanks to last year. The Packers offense was a bit sluggish against the Panthers as well. If they balance the attack with more running, I see more success for Green Bay. The Pack has always struggled against Chicago's Tampa-2 Zone defense, so if the run game is working good it will open up that passing more. That was something that was missing until the playoffs last year, so the Bears just sat back in coverage knowing Brandon Jackson couldn't do anything. Now with Starks running great and Grant back to boot, it will be a stiffer challenge. 27-23 Bears

Why is that so shocking? The Lions finished ahead of the Vikes last year without Stafford most of the time anyways. With him for a full season, and I'd be shocked if the Lions didn't finish ahead of the Queens.

I think it's exactly that with Chay. When you are undrafted, you jump on what you get because you may not get another offer like that. If you decide to wait, that team that initially offered may use that roster spot for someone else. Also, Minnesota is still in [relatively] close proximity. Very few guys go undrafted that know they will ultimately be wanted by a lot of teams once they are a free agent.

It's a bit early to tell, but I think UND and Miami will form a nice rivalry. I think the Redhawks see themselves as and up-and-coming version of us. They play a lot like we do and their coach Enrico Blasi and the university have strived to make them a perennial contender. I'm not so sure that our fanbase will see it as a rivalry team right away, but I think their tenacity that they will show when playing us will spark something between the teams that may grow bigger in the long-term.

I see the Saints as a 10-6 team and the Packers at an 11-5 team. Where that puts them in the playoffs, I'm not sure. I actually had the 11-5 prediction before today's game, and had predicted the Pack to lose, so I guess you could bump that up to 12-4, but that's a lot of wins. The Packers will lose a couple to some good teams, and a couple to some not so good teams...it just happens. The Packers didn't seem to have a sense of urgency or a lot of energy on defense. They got a bit complacent, and Brees almost made them pay. If Tramon Williams is out for a length of time, it will be tough for the Packers. I'm just glad this one is over and the Packers came out with a W.
