I agree. NBC is killing it for all the sports they cover in my opinion, whether it's college hockey or the NFL.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the "Screaming Indian" Braves logo will likely not be coming back. There were plans to have it on the BP caps this year, but Atlanta is considering caving into the public outcry against the logo.

I don't disagree on many things, but this is one. I wouldn't mind if the team picked two home games to wear dark, though, so the fans that aren't able to travel can at least see the other uni's in action. One day would be a green night, the other a black night.

It's hard to say for sure without having an actual game-worn to measure. Different styles of jerseys had different sized numbers so it's all a guessing game. What I'd try is making some paper numbers of different sizes and setting them on your sweater and see how it looks in comparison to a photo of the jersey you are trying to replicate and pick the size you feel looks best. Depending on what jersey you are trying to get numbered, the jersey itself will may make the numbers look bigger/smaller in comparison to the cut of the jerseys way back when. Wisconsin is going to have some pretty sharp uni's for their outdoor game at Soldier Field next month. I wonder if Minnesota has anything planned.

I doubt Gregoire will, barring unforeseen circumstances. I definitely think Nelson gets a look. I like the Preds/Hawks. Hawks for obvious reasons...and they were the closest NHL team to my hometown. Growing up near the Milwaukee Admirals is why I like the Predators. Milwaukee is their farm team.

Funny story... I was at Lambeau with my uncle, father, and my uncle's nephew (Michael) who has down syndrome for the 2002 Packers/Falcons playoff game where Vick went off. Anyways, it's the second quarter or so and we notice Michael drinking a can of beer. The only beer consumed by any of us to that point were the plastic cup tappers. We were like, "Michael, where the heck did you get that beer?!" He smiles and opens up his jacket where he has like 8 cans of beer stashed. We couldn't stop laughing since they check for stuff like that at the gates and he had never mentioned to us he had a bunch of beer.

I would put money on Wisco myself with UND as an outside chance. The biggest perk to inviting UND is the ticket sales, which is why I'd rule out Michigan.

Just got done watching the game on my DVR...totally awesome. Great team effort. I think I can see Canada smoldering from here.

I doubt you'll see anyone other than a senior wear the C, and I don't believe Rocco will stick around that long. He's stated before about his anxiousness to get to the pros. Maybe that will change, but being that he's a redshirt Freshman this year, I don't think he's going to spend 5 years on campus. If we get a third full season out of him, I'll be happy.
