5 years from now we are going to see how disappointing it was to let Nash slip through our fingers, although he went to Cornell for the right reason so I don't blame him.
With the new Ralph:
-Having to sit sucks...it takes the energy out of everyone
-Too many fans that aren't true fans attend games
-Too many rules that take te fun out
-Too many lazy people
I don't think it makes much of a difference either in his decision...but it would surprise me if either he himself or friends/family members do read it, and for someone to be a part of the Sioux family and to hear some things said, it bothers me. For most people to applaud Scott Foyt for his hard work ethic and willingness to make the team better through practices moreso than games, but to hear bad things about someone who is on the ice AND helps the team through practice as well can be a little much. Lee does things for the team that others can't, even if he hasn't performed as well as you would think a number 1 pick would.
I haven't been the nicest of Lee fans throughout his time at UND, however there are definitely people that cross the line, and it bothers me. I do, however, agree with criticism being ok, just not overboard like some.
It's about time people start rooting for Lee instead of against him...
Lee WILL FOR SURE be an impact player his junior year. He'd be stupid to leave just to go play minors right now.
Down the stretch Joe Finley was doing a great job. The only thing that stands out was the (non) penalty he had, which is a shame. He was very reliable the whole second half of the season and wasn't the Joe Finley from the past. All our defensemen played excellently down the stretch and it's hard to rank them, they are all so close, and it really discredits who you put at the bottom because everyone was a huge part of our success this past season.
Obviously...
Is it for practice? Is it a charity thing? Is there something I'm missing...? I Just find it kinda cool how players at all these different levels are playing on the same rink.
