  1. Not fun when it's your first rounds of the year because ND is still snowy white...I golfed like crap but it was fun as hell
  2. I was golfing in Pinehurst, NC that weekend, and of course, nowhere had ESPNU. My plane flew into Minneapolis the night of the game, and landed as the game was going into overtime. I ran to the nearest tv, which was at a little bar at a TGI Fridays in the airport. I had my Sioux gear on with a bunch of gopher fans around me. A minute later, the Gophers got Porterized. One of the best moments of my Sioux fan life.
  3. We need to pay Hak first
  4. Sounds good to me...I'll do my best! Just called....man, I am bored. Anything to do this time of night in GF besides drink?
  5. It's hard to go wrong with who you pick, but I would never separate Joyce and Hrkac. Of all the duos in Sioux history, in my opinion, that was probably the best in terms of totaly teamwork between each other. But, what do I know...hehe. Conan's on!
  6. Oshie-Duncan-Toews Ludwig-Greene Goehring Simple as that!
  7. Hopefully this doesn't turn into the story of the boy who cried wolf. Eventually there actually was a wolf....hopefully there won't eventually be a signing. Everyone can say TJ is a man of his words as much as they want, but until he's in the Sioux uniform in a little less than 75 days, I'll be constantly worried.
  8. Now, I'm not sure if anyone told you, but you can only win one per year...

  10. I like the old "GANG GREEN"
  11. It's disappointing he got released by the Admirals. I'd go get my hockey fix while being home on X-mas break by going and watching him play.
  12. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment in Winterland Apartments. They are right next to campus, next to Campus Place apartments, behind the new Red Pepper and Dakota Textbook. The Dakota Hall bus stop is right next to the apartments so you don't even need to walk/bike/drive to classes. One of my roommates is joining the Air National Guard and will be gone for 5 months, so he is moving out for good. We're looking for someone to move in sometime in August. My roommate said he'd even pay the August rent for someone because he felt bad moving out. My other roommate and I LOVE sports. We follow pretty much everything and love to talk/argue about sports. We like to go party, but never party in our apartment, so no worries there. We are really easy to get along with and like to focus on our schoolwork as well. Rent is relatively cheap too. It's $250/month. Heating/Water is paid for. We pay electricity, cable, and internet. Electricity ranges from 10-12 per person, per month. Cable/Internet combined is about $33/month. So, total you are paying about $295/month which is a great value. The apartment is nice, just nothing flashy. We have a 37" LCD HDTV w/ a Sony Surround Sound system and wireless internet for all your entertainment needs. If age matters, we are both juniors and will both be 21 by the start of school. Guys OR girls are welcome, we just want someone who's gonna pay rent! Also, you must be able to do your own dishes, unlike my roommate who is in the process of moving out. Even if you aren't interest, but know someone who might be, let him/her know! If you have any questions you can email me or call me. Even Leah can move in if she wants! 13. It's hotter than hell in Grand Forks because that's where I am.
  14. I love the Shang. I live right across the street so it's tempting to order from there a lot. In fact, I tried ordering from there the other day, but no response. Apparently it is closed. The food was good, but I think their prices could have been a touch better. I didn't like to have to pay 9 dollars for a meal that I used to get for 5 dollars back home.

  17. I guess that IS the only option being that there aren't any trees.
  18. Why would someone in North Dakota have a wood chipper?
  19. Doesn't bother me! That means more SOLD OUT Packers games I can watch and I'll be at every Sioux home game anyways!
  20. I tried my hand at making Chinese food tonight...Spicy beef and broccoli. Not too shabby, but something needs to change a little.
  21. I'd agree with that...I was just saying, LITE is the way to go if you are drinking light.
  22. I never understand Bud Light. I didn't know water could be any lighter...? When going for a light beer, go with the L-I-T-E.
  23. I think the pic would be a perfect cover picture if they did make the game.
  24. You guys are hilarious.
