  1. 1) Minnesota - Young, but still solid all around - Frazee IS a veteran goalie. Lucia will have them ready. 2) North Dakota - Definitely can be the best in not only the conference, but the nation...offensively they don't stack up yet. Vets need to step up 3) Michigan Tech - Carry over from last seasons success 4) Wisconsin - Lots of good offensive recruits, but the wrong place with little D. New goalie I hear is pretty good though. 5) St. Cloud - Lost some guys, but they will recover. 6) Alaska - Anchorage - Surprise, surprise. This is my stretch of a pick. 7) Colorado College - Hard workers, good kids, not enough talent. 8) Denver - Fallout year for Denver, still the downward slide from recent championship years. 9) Mankato - Just good enough to beat Duluth 10) Duluth - What can I say....
  2. It wouldn't surprise me if MTU put up a top 3 finish. It will be hard, but they are talented.

    Vikings

They're the Vikings....why bother to continue to support them...
  4. Just don't ask! We'll go put one up tonight!
  5. I think UND will try signing Hak for sure one way or another. I think UND is taking a chance by hoping that he doesn't deliver down the stretch and then they can offer up a smaller contract....just a thought.
  6. Alright everyone! I AM GOING!!!! Can't wait to get up there, meet some folks, drink some beer and play some golf!
  7. Anyone know when the student season tickets are going on sale yet?
  8. I really want to go to the Wisconsin series. Friday/Saturday at hockey, Sunday at Lambeau Field for Packers/Vikings matchup.
  9. I loved the way Matt Smaby played while here...any chance he makes the big club this year?
  10. Haha, I'd like to carpool up there in case I get lost. Never been up to Warroad or anywhere close to there. Also, I have 2 jobs, granted one IS at the Golf Center. Hehe.
  11. Sure....
  12. I REALLY want to do this. If anyone wants to pair up with me, maybe we can get a SiouxSports 4-some or something. I'm about a 5 handicap, so if you don't want to golf with a hack you're in luck. I'll golf with anyone of all abilities. I golf by myself at Ray Richards and always get paired up with random people so I'm used to playing with people of all abilities. Let me know!
  13. Don't worry...Tuesday night I'll make it right...that's my 21st
  14. Another place I thought of was at Summerfest this year in Milwaukee, WI. In the middle of the OAR concert, which was going on right next to the Sugarland concert, this guy walked by with a Sioux shirt and I had to say hi.
  15. HDMI's have gold tips
  16. Pretty much all that, and brats.....mmmm..... -Badger football/basketball (I hate badger hockey, so no worries) -Golf (i should also post this in the hated thread, hehe)
  17. Raleigh-Durham airport in North Carolina. It was the day we played the Gophers in the playoffs this year so I had my Sioux gear on, and a pilot came up and chit-chatted a bit. He was a former UND grad.
  18. hey, come on now...be nice. I don't want to have to start listing reasons why Wisconsin is better than ND. I will give you the only 2 reasons ND is better... -Sioux hockey -75 mph interstate speed limit
  19. -Grand Forks drivers -Peyton Manning -Receipt printer at the Golf Center -A couple WCHA officials (not most) -Wellness Center at UND -Wind
  20. Ryan Ryan Ryan... Where's Jennifer Aniston? If she was with me, she'd be the scoring leader..hehe
  21. Secrets secrets are no fun...
  22. Close enough, ha
  23. Not really a Fighting Sioux fact, but a WCHA hockey fact... Michael (Joe Mexico) Vick will be attending multiple hockey games this year while suspended from the Falcons...those games being Duluth vs. Mich. Tech, St. Cloud vs. Tech, and St. Cloud vs. Duluth, that way he can get his dog fighting fix in during his off time. And before you ask...Yes, he is bringing his water bottle.
  24. I think the coolest, most unique thing to do would to have alternating sections of color. This would have to be done by giving out the t-shirts by handing them out either right before the game when you're in the seats, or having the shirts sitting on the seats when you get there. Then alternate the sections white and green all the way around for a cool, unique, contrasting idea. The only problem with this is that you cannot coordinate this outside of the arena, unless the actual game ticket specifies what you should wear.
  25. Anyone wanna golf this week?
