There's a difference betwen being against a certain group or certain organization because of who they are and being against a certain logo of that group/organization. In no way would my little boredom trip be anything along the lines of what B.R.I.D.G.E.S. represents.

I'd say it does, but it doesn't. With that I mean, if you are a good player, it doesn't matter if you go to a bad school or not. I think if you are a good player, though, it might help a little to go to a better school. So basically, it can't hurt you, only help you.

Sioux Shop will not carry the authentics...according to the employees there. They will only carry a high-quality replica. From my understanding, the replica Swift will be closer to the authentic the regular replicas are to the current authentics. I saw the ones at Scheel's today. They aren't that great looking. I think they are too baggy or something.

I didn't run through the list so the extra names may have been added, but I believe a few other celebrities not on the original list showed and also signed, so you will get a few more auto's I believe. The tourney was awesome, I can't wait til next year! Thanks for everything Osh!

I'm not sure how these can be facts for both Sioux players and other people, such as how these are mostly Chuck Norris, Jack Bauer, etc. facts.

I agree mostly with this. I don't agree with it being better than even the worst one by SiouxSports members, but it wasn't along the lines of what I envisioned. The site as a whole is very nice, however. It's just that the logo isn't what I was thinking you were looking for. Other than the feathers, it doesn't look very "Sioux/Native American" like.

Hak was at Oshie's tourney on Saturday. I actually brought this up to him and here's how he reacted: He just chuckled and said: "That's the small stuff. Don't even worry about it." I'm no longer worried. Hak will be here for a long time unless we have an ABSOLUTE idiot running our athletic department...which MAY be the case, but doubtful.

On Saturday Chris was still a free agent and had a plethora of offers. He'll find a place to play without a doubt. He works way too hard. A couple off the top of my head were Pittsburgh and Nashville to go along with Chi-town and St. Louis. There were more but I can't remember.

Tim set up the tourney so two 5-somes combined and actually played 10 man groups for all 18. I golfed with Tim Oshie, Chris Porter and 2 Warroad locals on my team. The other team in our same 10-some was 4 Winnipeggers and Jonathan Toews. Everyone was a lot of fun and the tournament was worth every penny. Who can argue with all you can eat steak at the end? I think Osh needs another Caesar

Just got back from the tourney. For all that missed out, it was a blast. Lots of good golf, great faces, awesome food and just an overall perfect day. The only disappointing side was lack of support from our community. There were many fans there, but there was room for lots more. The $125 was WELL worth it. Next year it better be packed! Maybe I'll post a picture or two tomorrow.

Speaking of golf...I shot my best 9 holes at Ray Dicks yesterday...a 33 (-3) from the Blue tees. I was even -4 thru 7...f'ed up on hole 9.

Using the site, I came up with $4.77 per shirt, for a total of $52,470 total. That's A LOT of money.

I agree with what you said completely...in fact I basically said the same exact thing. I'm just not going to assume someone steps up and takes a scoring role. Porter is another that will sorely be missed. He could put the puck in the net. Toews could put the puck in the net. That's 2 out of our best scorers gone. I'm not going to say that anyone will step up for sure...b/c they haven't proved it before. So, right now, I only see 2 scorers, and with the way Minnesota will score, I'm not sure our D will keep up with their O as much as their D will keep up with our offense. Lammy and Frazee are a push...both are veteran WCHA goalies.

I think everyone is WAAAY too quick to put UND at the top. We only have 2 proven scorers right now. Defense is VERY solid, most likely best in college hockey, but goaltending with Lammy is still up and down. He was VERY good down the stretch last year, and did struggle with the injury in the first half, but he still did have his moments. We need much more scoring, Lee will be a bigger loss than people anticipate (he struggled with hanging onto the puck, but when he did have it, he made many good passes which is why he had a high assist count). Let's not forget that b/c of our lack of depth offensively, if Duncan or Oshie goes down at all, we are done for...in my opinion. Vande is no Toews (offensively or defensively), nor is any incoming freshman. Given all that, I think our 3rd and 4th lines are still better than most teams' 2nd lines, and I think Lammy is a proven vet now and will perform down the stretch. I just don't think it's a guarantee that it will be the Sioux at the top. THEY STILL HAVE TO EARN EVERY SINGLE POINT ALL SEASON. LET'S HOPE HAK DOESN'T LET THEM FORGET THAT.

1) Minnesota - Young, but still solid all around - Frazee IS a veteran goalie. Lucia will have them ready. 2) North Dakota - Definitely can be the best in not only the conference, but the nation...offensively they don't stack up yet. Vets need to step up 3) Michigan Tech - Carry over from last seasons success 4) Wisconsin - Lots of good offensive recruits, but the wrong place with little D. New goalie I hear is pretty good though. 5) St. Cloud - Lost some guys, but they will recover. 6) Alaska - Anchorage - Surprise, surprise. This is my stretch of a pick. 7) Colorado College - Hard workers, good kids, not enough talent. 8) Denver - Fallout year for Denver, still the downward slide from recent championship years. 9) Mankato - Just good enough to beat Duluth 10) Duluth - What can I say....
