  1. Per EdgyTim on twitter, UND has offered Jesse Bobbit, a Safety out of Illinois. Here is his rivals profile. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Jesse-Bobbit-131850;_ylt=Am76aHV9U2FyYRB4l8n0B.NIPZB4
  2. Can watch the game here: http://www.ihigh.com/longwoodlancers/broadcast_188438.html?silverlight=1
  3. Ruh Roh......
  4. Summit only includes the top 8 teams, so not everyone makes that one either.
  5. This I can dig. I would prefer an every other year arrangement. I would also like to see different FCS teams come to UND rather than only having 2 games with differing opponents every year. I want to see teams from the MVFC, Southland, CAA, SoCon come to UND if possible. With only two OOC games to schedule, one would likely be an FBS and the other would be a purchased tomato can (which isn't a bad thing). I'd just like some flexibility with the last one (NDSU, SDSU, USD, UNI, Southern Ill, Sam Houston, SFA, JMU, ODU, GSU, UNH, Maine, Towson, etc) - and yes I know that most of that wouold not be possible, but at least we could get some action with the other MVFC and Southland teams I would suspect. I know my opinion is of the minority, but I like different teams.

  7. Isn't it also because the policy's at Minn and Wisco are to not play a team that is on the NCAA sanctions list, which Florida State is not on? I thought that this was part of the discussion......
  8. While I see what you're saying here, the truth of the matter is home playoff football games normally increase the likelihood of a team winning a championship (see NDSU this year, UND in 2001, etc). In addition to education, recurits want to win championships. If they know that they will never have a home field advantage in the playoffs, they might think that their chances at a championship will be diminished. This in turn could cause them to go elsewhere. Also, if there is a possibility year after year of getting kicked out of the conference (think autobid), and they are going to have to recruits go elsewhere out of uncertainty of conference affiliation. Would it happen - who knows - but I would rather not take the chance to find out. That is how football recruiting can be affected.
  9. Won't be able to listen - hopefully someone can give those of us that aren't available to listen a recap.
  10. This. I think Carlson is basically saying that although the law is now back again, UND will not be penalized by not following it and appears to almost be telling UND to do just that.
  11. Is he also a QB on offense? Speaking of the Hein's, I was surprised we wouldn't get Jess Hein in as PWO, unless they tried and he decided he wanted to go to Bemidji on whatever type of scholarship they have.
  12. Well, with 2012 essentially done, I thought we could just as well start the listing of 2013 interest. I know that there have been three additions to Wiki based on a rivals search, so I thought I'd check scout for more. So, without further ado, here we go for next year WR/RB Trever Ryen, 5'9" 157, Ida Grove (Battle Creek-Ida Grove Senior), IA http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=5085113 Yes, I've only found one more thus far.....
  13. I also have a roku - the most expensive model. Had it for over a year now. I really do like it, but I pretty much only use Netflix with it (although it does have a lot of different capabilities).
  14. Well, that was earlier. Now there is a UNC QB with a playoff victory under his belt. Our QB was that QB's backup. That means he must be good In all seriousness, I hope that we do get a consistent passing attack this year. I think our offense could be very tough if the playbook opens up a little and our key players make some plays.
  15. So, since it appears that we are looking for a LB and one more OL, here's a list of people I can't find any commitment info on. LB Bennett Goff - found an article stating he didn't sign yesterday and is taking a visit this coming weekend before deciding. Could visit be to UND? LB Tyler Fahey LB Grant Taylor (although he suffered a very bad concussion/seizure in a game last October - maybe isn't playing FB anymore) OL James Anderson (read an article that it appears that he had a torn hamstring around the championship game time - maybe not an option) OL Ryan Dahl - don't know much about him but has size (6'9" 280). Can't find that he signed anywhere, although maybe he is going to be a BB player. Can't really find any other offensive lineman that didn't sign anywhere or have us in the finalists.
  16. He is a JUCO, and I believe he's from Miami, so not necessarily local.
  17. He's one that I was looking at. Also, haven't seen anything about Stephen Arnold out in Arizona.
  18. Also, Joe Schobert shows up on rivals as signing his LOI.
  19. Also, in the PWO category, the Strib is showing that Brandon Larson signed his LOI. http://www.mnfootbal...nal-signing-day
  20. So it sounds like they are looking to get OL and LB still for the year. Sounds good.
  21. Maybe that's what Kotelnicki said when he noted during chat that they are looking for one more LB.
  22. Kotelnicki noted that they are still looking for one more LB. Should be at least one more signing after today there I would guess.
  23. I would assume that the rest of the PWO have yet to pay their dorm deposit. Didn't see Schwartkopf, Brandon Larson or Jake Hanson. Also didn't see Schobert.
  24. We missed No 20, Devin Coyle
