I don't disagree with that at all. It would have been wonderful to have Sam Foltz, Dylan Utter, Ben Holcombe, etc., but adding those ND kids as PWO is very good. I don't know much about Coyle (or the two Jakes), but I think that Schwarzkopf, Arp and Larson could be very good gets.

Another thing that I was thinking - with UND going into the Big Sky, I thought we'd see the Cali and Arizona recruiting skyrocket. However, only one Arizona recruit and none from Cali thus far is very surprising to me. Not including PWO or Braden, we have one from ND, three Wisonsin, five from Illinois (including Goard), four from Minnesota, one from Iowa, one from Nebraska, one from Nevada and one from Arizona. Seems we moved more Midwest this year than West. I found it intriguing.

He is a commercial aviation major - maybe he decided to leave the team to concentrate on studies? I would think that he would still be at the school if he's not on the team.

SFI has updated the expected signings listing with PWO's. It includes Justin Arp. So there's 6 PWO's listed - I thought there were 7. Wonder who the other is.

Although I hope both Butler's are back, I hope that if Breon does not come back it has no bearing on Javen. I think Javen could see significant playing time this year at safety.

I also thought I heard that Brewster is either a Minn walk on or going to St Thomas. Things would maybe change if we were to offer, but you never know. Also, I remember someone in the comments of the SFI in the fall saying that they thought Sura was going to UND, although I know that currently Ames had an update that he was mulling some FCS destinations. Wonder if we offered a PWO. For the remaining, I'd like to see one or two more OL, a RB and a CB. It's odd that we could only find a couple offerees in CA this year per the normal recruiting sites, but I'd like to think we'll see one or two from there, one more from MN, and probably one from either IL, AZ or NE. This class seems very solid.

Fletcher is listed on the list, fourth from the bottom. Anthony Taylor has been removed, however, due to a couple articles referencing him as committed to Eastern Illinois.

Since we still have needs on the OL (with only one known commit in this class), maybe Oliver can bring James Andersen, who we have interest in, along with him. http://rivals.yahoo....sj8wcFe0fMbwOrF_ I believe he was first team all state as well.

I've had him on my wish list for a long time, and once we offered and I saw he was visiting I thought we had a good shot. Very happy to have Tuilagi aboard.

Also, Chris Monter at Gopherhole noted that LB Drake Michaelson, whom we knew a while ago would likely not be joining our squad, is going to Wofford.

I'm not as up to speed on ND high schools anymore living in the Cities - have you seen the kid play? Good candidate for a safety or CB?

I believe he committed to Duluth. Can't remember where I saw that.

Do you have a membership? The article also discusses Joey Counts (whom I believe UND had some interest in) and Stephen Arnold (who UND has an offer out to), so I was wondering what the article said about them.

While I trust the coaches to do what's best, based on the film (since it was 95% defensive side) he would probably be more suited for that side of the ball. He has good size for a DE and looked like he has potential there.

Not much out there for who is recruiting him, but he does appear to be pretty talented as a three year starter (Jr season missed most games due to injury) on defense. Also appears to be a very good basketball player.
