I am not sure how credible the CI Mid Major 25 is but I was looking at the rankings to see what conference championships I should follow. The following conferences look like they have two solid teams and could be games to watch in a couple of weeks: West Coast: 1 Gonzaga vs 4 Saint Mary's or 15 BYU MVC: 3 Wichita St vs 11 Creighton Mid-American: 5 Akron vs 17 Ohio Ohio Valley: 6 Belmont vs 13 Murrary State WAC: 7 LaTech vs 16 Denver Patriot: 9 Bucknell vs 23 Lehigh Horizon: 12 Valpo vs 22 Detriot Big Sky: 13 Montana vs 18 Weber St. Summit: 20 SDSU vs 21 W. Ill Each of these conferences have what appears to be great match-ups if they happen.. Looking forward to watching the Big Sky final no matter what team reaches the finals but most likely it will be Montana and Weber St. Hopefully UND can build a program to compete with those two programs. http://www.collegein...ajor-top-25.php

Very true and those are the breaks. It has been a tough year for UND with all the injuries and lost players. It is a miracle that UND only needs a split on the road and take care of SUU at home in the last game of the year and they will more than likely get the 3 or 4 seed.

Will Ward be back for Montana? Montana has 4 remaining games: @MSU, @SUU, Sac St, NAU Weber St has 4 games remaining: @Sact St, @NAU, PSU, EWU Montana is up by one game and the two teams split the season series. If you are a UND fan - I think that you hope Montana hangs on to win the tilte and host playoffs.. The 4 seed does not look as bad now. Either way, Weber St is playing some nice ball right now and Montana went to OT with Davidson in NC without two key players. Yes, Big Sky has 9 (if you count Idaho) mens teams in the regional rankings. Not bad for a mid major conference. Not sure how evenly distributed the teams are across the different regions.. Big Sky has teams ranked in the West and Mountain region with Big 12/Pac 12 schools. I assume UND would be in the Midwest Region. Losing playing and losing practice reps.. injuries are extremely unfortunate and they shorten many careers. He had two major hip procedures (one on each hip). Playing DB/OLB is all about hips.. you hear the term loose hips at the time. They shared the same conference for one year it was called the American West until the NCAA said that DII and FCS could not complete in the same conference. Then Cal-Davis went DII - Ind from 93 to 05 until they went FCS. I would say both Sac St./Cal Davis needed OCC games in California. Plus, I do know if Sac St. was remotely close to full funding and I don't think Cal-Davis had scholarships until FCS.
