  1. I know that they polled the students at NDSU recently - didn't see the results - do you know? (not trolling here - just interested)
  2. Search the message board you will see this answered many times over.. ultimately it had something to do with NDSU deciding to move on.... It is clearly owned by Gene and that could come back to bite him - only time will tell and how does a reporter at the GFH doing a open record request and article - link the AD to complaining in the media - do you think before you type?
  3. Did you check the NDSU directory?
  4. What is UND going to do about it.. according to GFG none of them attend UND.
  5. Please enlighten us on the Big Sky MBB and WBB AQ vs a conference with 4 teams for a AQ in baseball - this should fun. NOTE: I believe UND did beat both Summit League AQ teams this year in MBB and WBB.
  6. I believe that SDSMT and BHS would qualify as DII schools. Both are very new to DII and building the programs but they would be available for games.
  7. Based on what I saw yesterday, getting to 4-8 is going to be tough.
  8. Wow, watched the game.. it is going to be a long season.. a very loooong season.
  9. Hey !@#$ nut... Johnboy dumbass was comparing Kristo and petition gate. Please keep up you moron.
  10. One huge difference between the two incidents, one only had himself to blame. The other case shows complete disrespect to the community and lack of accountability to anything other than #butfootball. But hey that is how it rolls in fargo..
  11. Head to Head means everything
  12. You need to do a little research on the limitations of the RPI and how conferences can exploit it. Mid Level conferences with a large number of conference games are at a disadvantage compared to smaller conferences with less games conference games. That is why many simply state #buttrpi and this is why many mid major schools with very high RPIs do not get at large bids. I personally think head to head is the best measure - +18 works for me.
  13. Darell for me it is all about politics and stability. The Summit League/MVFC/MVC have this extremely strange co-dependency relationship. Take a look at it: MVC - now that Creighton left, Wichita St is rumored to be looking for greener pastures. It is also rumored that Missouri St is looking to move. If those two pieces go, who are the next schools to leave. Plus who do you back-fill with, according to other posters. The MVC has some quasi pulic to private ratio and a general dislike toward football schools. I would guess that some current SL basketball only schools would be candidates - Denver and Omaha would be the leading contenders from the SL based on the previous round of changes after Creighton left. MVFC - is simply a marketing branch of the MVC. They will do what the MVC wants. Plus you have MSU looking to leave and you always have the rumors about Youngstown St. Summit League - has two schools on the east side that are known to be looking for a new home (Fort Wayne and Indy). They can't add a school with football unless they get acceptance from MVFC. You have Oral Roberts which will leave in a moments notice. They only returned after the Southland lost several of its schools. Denver got a strong look and it was rumored that they would have been a very strong candidate for MVC if they would have added sports, which Denver has said no to at this time. If DU get a different AD that could change very quickly. Plus If MSU goes that leaves the SL with 4 football schools and MVC with 4 football schools (note did not count Drake PL team). Who owns and controls the MVFC? There is no real unity. What are the relationships with the Dakota schools - is it SDSU and NDSU or is it SDSU and USD or is it all three. The Big Sky appears to be happy with UND. They are adding Idaho this year which is a plus. I am fine with the Big Sky. Plus the upper Midwest schools need to get together and get it figured out - yes, I am talking about Montana, Montana St, Idaho, UND, NDSU, USD and SDSU.
  14. Which set of terms they keep changing
  15. Thanks Dan - my undergrad school is in the top 25.
  16. No, just not interested in it... why the butthurt on this stuff... I see you posting crap about UND professionals all the time.. So, you can but others can't.
  17. Congrats to all FU fans great win.and no offense, but I tried to find the game and couldn't
  18. Hey congrats to the FU good job..
  19. I was answering your first comment: No one knows who you are and your conference has done nothing in the tournament. I guess you have moved on... to your next point UND and SUU tied for the conference title Montana finished third. Sac St. who finished 6th in conference at 10-10 in conference with 18-12 overall record with nonconference wins against: Cal St Northridge, SanDiegoState, Oregon, Utah Valley, St. Marys, San Jose St., UC-Irvine, I think that you would be hard pressed to find another 6th place team with that kind of resume outside of the B-5 conferences.
  20. Add Anderson to several bad shots...
  21. I heard the boys talking about the Fighting Sioux nickname.. but did not catch what they said. Anyone here it
  22. So, the millions and millions of people you are talking about caught a minute of the one of the 60/70 games. Because of this 1 minute of some game they know all about NDSU. It is all so much cleaner now..
  23. I know compare the lines ## Player Name FG-FGA FG-FGA FT-FTA OF DE TOT PF TP A TO BLK S MIN 42 BJORKLUND, Marshall. f 5-9 0-0 3-4 1 6 7 1 13 0 0 3 0 32 24 BREKKE, Brandon..... f 8-11 0-0 1-5 1 3 4 3 17 0 2 1 0 26 NOTE: Please be careful trying to draw conclusions from direct comparison. Apparently many people think head to head comparison are useless.
  24. I have only see Mr Wright play a couple of times - I watched the IPFW game - they didn't have anyone to match up against him. I think OU will be able to match up against him. I thought that Nash outplayed Wright in GF this year.
  25. Not sure what to say other than - Montana has represented the Big Sky 20 times in the NCAA rournament - they have gone to the second round 6 times and have been in the Sweet 16 once. I would hardly say that is nothing.
