At least someone here gets it. I'll say it again, one game does not a season make, but one good season gets you into the playoffs.

I prefer to live for bigger things. Yes, beating the Bison in Fargo would be great, but I'm not counting on it, but I do think a playoff berth and win is possible and even probable. That gets us farther down the ultimate road for this program too. Some of you are too obsessed with NDSU.

Who the heck cares if we beat them or not. Look at the big picture, I'd much rather settle for a playoff appearance followed with a playoff win. One game doesn't determine our season, but one season determines our playoffs.

I always loved Kenny Golladay. Too bad we couldn't hold him.

Yea, and maybe his Uncle Vince could come here and coach. Win/win for us.

But a Grover or Heidelbaugh type QB is almost worse than nothing, and I remember how hyped people were about H when we first signed him.

So why waste a scholly on Grover at QB? Find some other place to fit him in. The same goes for any potential HS QB recruit. Get someone who has great potential, no use getting someone just to say we got a QB in this class. We don't need another Grover just marking time. I'd rather see no QB in this class than another marginal one is what I'm getting at.

Here's hoping for a good day tomorrow. See who we get, figure out what we still need and finish off with the Feb LoI day.

Aren't we all learning something every day? Hopefully someone learns how to keep our quality commits.

It looks like Bubba and company still have a lot to learn about the fine art of recruiting. It's bad enough when we have kids verballing elsewhere instead of here, but to lose a top notch commit the week of signing just sucks beyond belief. I sure hope Bubba has a plan B and someone is booking airline reservations or planning a road trip tomorrow. If we have to settle for the Best of the Rest after the early signing date, man I shudder at the thought. And as I keep preaching, we need to improve on all aspects of recruiting or we''ll always be middle of the pack or worse.

I learned after Bohl left, don't get your hopes up about the Bison dropping back to the middle of the pack. They are, beyond a doubt the luckiest SOB's I've ever seen. They will have old and new coaches that will do the same as before, and we'll have old and new coaches that will do the same as before. That's life.

Let's say I like their stats and film. Come on man, you gotta be impressed with something.

I agree with everything you said, and especially on recruiting. I keep saying Bubba simply can't recruit and that is our biggest downfall. The only kids from our 19 class that have really knocked my socks off are Case and Riviere . We are just getting out maneuvered by other schools on way too many great athletes.

I watched the NDSU MSU game this afternoon and it's a tragedy we didn't get to play MSU during the season. Brady, John, and JJ would have run wild on these guys. I can see why NDSU won, MSU is vastly overrated.

Maybe we should have kept Rudolph and fired Berry instead? *JK.*

I think this is going to be a very long off season for us. We still have lots of unanswered questions, plus the frustration of watching other teams playing post season.
