I did some digging on our 2021 opponents final records today. Teams that UND beat finished 12-41. Games played: 5 Teams that beat UND finished 58-22 (not counting one more game for NDSU). Games played: 6 Frustrating that the teams we beat only managed 12 combined wins. I'm not trying to be Debby Downer here but the difference in records is glaring.

Wentz sure pissed that game down his leg. Derek Carr showed he's the better game manager.

I doubt the Bison would fire Entz under your scenario. The spring covid season didn't count in the minds of many and having a bad fall 2021 season alone wouldn't have been enough. Things would have to roll into '22 before heads would fly. Replacing a coach always sets a team further back so AD's are reluctant to do it.

The Bison had some very good teams all through their transition and then had a few really bad years when they first joined the Mo Valley. All through those poor years Bohl survived and I'm not sure if he was even under a lot of pressure. Granted, they didn't have the history then that they have now, but I have a feeling their AD might have more tolerance than you think he has. Now the fans, that's a different story. I'm sure they'd fire the entire coaching staff.

That's the point I was trying to make. These guys in the TP have already abandoned a team, what's to say they won't do it again? We need long term guys who want to play and will stick.

Didn't Mo State have a bunch of players transfer in for this year? Maybe I'm thinking of a different school, but thought they did. And now they have 12 leaving. I don't foresee the transfer portal being the answer to a schools needs in most cases. Those who live by the transfers, die by the transfers.

Many of you are giving NDSU way to much credit for affecting the destiny of this team. A Hawk win, while great wouldn't have guaranteed anything else the following week except feeling good. And the loss didn't mean the team would tank the rest of the season. It was one game out of a season. I refuse to think that them winning set the tone for future games. To repeat, it was one game. Now Bubba affecting the team, that's a different story.
