Seasonal my but. Hal Gershman said GF wasn't even informed about what was going on in Bismarck. The same dirty tricks continue to happen to GF. Most of you are college grads I am not never went to college. It's mind boggling to me that what is going on in GF and the state is delberately trying to keep economic progress from happenning here. Dorgan will be badly missed but at least we still have 2 amigos left. If GF had to rely on the state legislature for GF to prosper we would die a slow death. Thank you Byron Dorgan for your fairness to all corners of the state. Hooven is the worst thing that can happen to UND and GF. Hoevens is the guy who would spend his Saturday afternoons with the biggest college presidental crook of all time in ND. Great judge of character. Go Heidi Heitkamp she may by the smartest politician in ND period. I love UND and GF if any of you have been to more FB of BB games than me congrats you have been to alot of them. For UND to prosper GF has to prosper. End of rant.

Most people want to keep the nickname. But if it goes what do we do? Go with no nickname or pick one and move on. When I was in Lubbock for the FB game Muss said on the radio that UND was in the top 15 in the country for merchandizing. Pretty impressive. That is one mean looking logo. Thanks

Republican bashing is one of my favorite hobbies. I realize I don't make many friends on this board when I go there. But that's how I feel.

I'm sure Ed's comments were tongue and cheek. The Republicans are running a pro choice candidate in Mass. I guess you do what it takes to win. If the anti choice crowd in the Republican party think there leadership want abortion to end they will continue to be disappointed. They like the issue. They had 8 years to do something about it. If it was such a pressing issue they should have shut down the government for it. They would shut down the government for taxing the rich more. Of course we all have our priorities like money..

Recruiting seems to be going pretty well. When we get kids from the warm weather states to sign with us you have to applaud there sense of adventure. By the way we have lots of angry rednecks to the south of us to. Ha Ha.

Glen Frey of the Eagles called the Little River Band the best vocals band of all time. In April they are playing at the Spirit Lake Casino. Let's hope by then there's a 30 year agreement to keep the nickname. Then we can all go there and celebrate. Great singers.

When your a poor shooting team like UND is you have to devote a large part of your practice time to that. Back in the 80's when Magic Johnson and Michael Cooper played for the Lakers they spent countless hours working on there shooting. They were not good shooters when they came into the league. Both had bad looking shots but they got to be pretty good outside shooters. If UND isn't devoting half of there practice time to improve there shooting they should. It can't get any worse can it?

It's frustrating to watch a team that is so poor offensively. Have we had a really good scorer-shooter since Travis Tuttle played here? This is a tough way to start a season. Are any of the guys on this roster going to all of a sudden become scorers? I doubt it. I wonder what Faison is thinking. Coach Jones says he has a plan I hope it works out for him and UND.

The last time that I remember the Sioux playing in Arkansas was in 1970. The Sioux played at Arkansas State. The Sioux lost that game 23-18 and a bad call cost UND the game if I remember correctly. So this is a little revenge. What a gutty effort. Good luck seniors.

UND hopes the turf project will start sometime next summer. Some meetings with a few people are being put together in town so they can figure out how much money is actually going to have to be raised for the project. Good news.

The game was on the big sky web site. Watched the 2nd half. If the Sioux shoot like this the rest of this year it could be a long season. The Sioux missed alot of shots in the paint. Montana got hot from the 3 point line and UND stayed in there zone. The Montana guys were wide open it was frustrating to watch. It's a young Sioux team that I think will get better as the season goes on.

If the Sioux can defend the perimeter against the Aggies they have a chance to win. So I'm picking the Sioux 27-24. When the lights go down in the California town. A little John Stewart with Stevie Nicks. California gold for the conference champs Sioux.

Green Bay is a fun team to watch. Nice inside outside game for them and they play tough D. The Sioux hung in there until cold shooting in the second half was the difference in the game

Goska may be UND's best option at this point. Our receiving core is down this year. Landry is slow. He can't get away from the rush. With better receivers and better protection Jake might be good. Sioux got no breaks today should have at least 10 more on the board.

I agree and with a healthy Sutton against USF it's a different game. Not saying the Sioux would have won but I'm kinda thinking so. If the injured players are close to 100% we can play with SUU. Or is this team on a downward spiral. Hope not. Sioux 27 SUU 24

Bin now your more than making up for lost time and for that you get a thata boy. For the past 5 decades that I have been going to Sioux games I don't think UND fans have anything to hang there heads for. Support has been pretty darn good considering the size of GF. The big crowds at the Fargo Dome set the bar pretty high. I was just looking at UMD Bulldogs web site and I was looking for football attendance figures. Duluth metro is about twice GF's or more. Attendance for the last UMD football game was 5,252 it said it was the third largest crowd in UMD history. When we get 6,000 for a playoff FB game some out there point fingers and laugh at UND. Temporary setbacks happen at all schools. UND has a history or track record of quality programs and I see no reason why this will not continue. Peace

It was what a month ago when the Northeastern State coach was praising our defensive scheme. The 3-4 has been good to UND and we should stick with it. Good players make coaches look smart.

I was at the game and USF quarterback Lorenze Brown was the best player on the field today. 19 rushes 116 yards 20-33 passing 3 TD's and no picks. UND could not stop him. A great QB makes all the difference in a teams makeup. I think your team plays with alot more confidence with a good QB. Landry will have better days and he is a good QB. All you have to do is look at the Bison without Steve Walker and the Bison play with alot less confidence. Better days are coming hang in there.
