NDSU Basketball.... 19 wins not bad. Scheels Arena built for a move up to better conference. Student housing being built by Scheels arena. Last few years have been very good. Being mediocre is not in there DNA. Comment after last year by Bison coach about A J Jacobson we need to get more out of A J. ND Class A all time leading scorer. He needs to get more aggressive. Staff and students fed up and want out 119 sign up for early out. What's next Accreditation decline? Where is the Legacy money? There's Legacy High in Bismarck and Legacy Elementary in West Fargo. Heard Al Carlson on the radio yesterday say if you think this round of cuts were bad wait until the next round of cuts. I'm on the radio on KNOX and KFGO saying things that I believe to be the truth. The big money in this state has no ties to UND. They want the other school to be at 25,000 and this one to go back to D3 and have 8000 students. UND has alums with money but they don't control the politics in ND the other school does. The one thing Grand Forks has had to rely on thru some tough times like the flood and the base going from 15000 to a population of 2000 is UND. Now the economic engine that UND is to GF in in jeopardy. I asked a radio talk host on KNOX where is all the Legacy money he said you can't blame that on the Repbs the citizens did that. I was cut off before I could ask the follow up question of who was behind the Legacy Fund vote and what were there motives. David Flynn UND professor is on KNOX taking calls on Thursdays I asked him about Grand Sky and what kind of impact it could have on the GF economy he said there is no indication this will be a Hugh thing. UND is a Hugh thing in GF. If UND is cut by 30 to 40% of it's current size The GF economy may not recover. Fargo is now taking programs from other schools like The State School in Whaprton and I've heard the people in Whapeton are very angry. Jamestown College has a Physical Therapy School in Fargo. What's next Jamestown College Med School Jamestown College Law School. Then it could be called 4college instead of tri college. Get the picture. You can save the people in this state from spending years in that place called Grand Forks. Up in the cold corner of the state. Where I live. Whats going on with these cuts is something we should be angry about. I do not feel the people on this board are taking what's going with seriously. UND in the Flagship and the other guys are Moo U. Iif NDSU adds hockey now there is no longer 3O00 hockey tickets sold in FM and UND is downsized by 30% and the GF economy and population takes a hit who is going to buy the hockey tickets? The people that make good money at UND who are forced to leave where are going to make 70 plus grand in GF? There gone. I listen to radio stations in Fargo and almost all are pro Fargo they hardly ever ask the question where does all the money go. iIn Grand Forks you have to account for every pencil. Radio stations play a huge role in public opinion. There are people in the GF radio market that you ask the question why are you here. The there all corrupt movement in Grand Forks government defeated the sales tax increase in GF. Road funding is not coming here from the state and Feds. GF and UND will be hurt by this. More bad sh## for us in GF to deal with. If GF doesn't grow or prosper it will hurt UND. And that's the plan hurt UND and GF.

Fargo and SU have big plans to be big time as I see it. Are some of these plans to shrink UND? The committee to cut athletic teams was you cut the teams so I don't look the bad guy never mind. UND has Presidents trying to rip it apart not grow it. UND down 2% this year. 500 Million in deferred maintenance are you kidding me and there not trying to bulldoze UND. There are a lot of anti UND anti Grand Forks growth people planted in GF trying to tear down both. Your downtown is the heart and soul of your community. Even more important when your a University Community. Reading how much money is being put into downtowns in Fargo, Bismarck the Twin Cities and many more tells me downtowns are becoming important again. I hope it goes downtown if one is built. Close to Central High School so it can be used alot. And if there was more room downtown would it be asking to much for Central High to have there own practice field and for gym class?

Ferris State had 228 yards rushing the Bison 162. When teams play up it's a super bowl type game for them. Most players play at the level they play in for a reason. Emotion goes along ways in a football game. When your the dog you play harder it means more. How does Ferris get so many yards rushing and K State so few. Hard to explain. This Ferris coach Tony Annese is a winner. Every level he has won big. He's 50 may have moved up to late. Expecting Ferris to make some noise next few years.
