Right before halftime we punt on a 4th and one. Why? Our offense is the strength of the team. It's not like we have the playoffs on the line. The team played hard. The defense had a better 2nd half. Freund is a great competitor going to miss him next year.

Watching Fox news last weekend they said 93% of Americans make there mortgage payments on time every month. It looks to me like the Average Joe is pretty responsible. But some of you want to blame the little guy for this mess. Obama and the Democrates are going to have a landslide this time. Why? Because of all the debt. Weather it's Bush and the Republicans fault or not the people in power get blamed for the mess. And remember we had all this debt before the Dems took control of congress last election.

No the key part of my statement is that this should be investigated. Wouldn't you love to see these Dems under oath. I think you don't want this investigated for fear where this may go. Some reports have this bailout into the Trillions. They appointed a Special Prosecutor Ken Starr for a 300,000 alleged illegal loan to Susan McDougal in Whitewater and you don't think this should be investigated. Tell me I'm wrong.

Look at this country and tell me who we have as role models. The people we should have as role models like politicians, CEOS, actors, the clergy every day fill the newscasts with bad behavior. This is what our youth see.

I heard on the radio that 90% of Americans make there mortgage payments on time. I cannot back up that number but I would like to know what that percentage is. Republican talking points is that Clinton forced companies to give loans to people not qualified for them. How much of that contributed to the problem. I would like to know. Democrates say lack of oversite and regulations was the problem. When the taxpayers have to pony up this kind of money for a bail out like this we taxpayers should demand an investigation and let the chips fall as they may. But politicians only like investigations when they can stick it to the other party. Dems control congress let's see what they do. And I disagree with your statement that most Americans have lost any sense of responsibility. Most Americans get up every day go to work and pay there bills.

You are correct UND92,96 you never said Freund was the best QB in the Dakotas. All you said was that you believe Freund is every bit as good as USD's Sheppard. My apologizes.

SE Louisiana played at Mississippi State and hosted the Sioux. Looking at the stats the Sioux fared well with Mississippi State. The Sioux gained 436 yards Mississippi State gained 401. Advantage Sioux. On defense advantage Mississippi State. They gave up 148 yards to the Siouxs 351. Fun times only to get better. To bad Danny Freund is a senior as he is the best QB in the Dakotas as UND92/96 previously posted.

SU does have a good hardcore fan base. But as posted here before when you break the numbers down the Grand Forks area supports the SIOUX as well as the Bison in Fargo per capita. NDSU is no different from any other school when you start losing games. The fair weather fans stay home. Just for fun I looked at the fan forums for the 4 D1 colleges in the Dakotas for fan interest. I looked at number of members and number of posts. SIOUX Sports 4,000 members 344,309 posts. Bisonville 2,972 members 214,132 posts. SDSU 1,222 members 87,160 posts. USD 202 members 3,130 posts. So UND does have alot of people who care about the SIOUX. I was on the UNI fan forum and someone posted they thought USD was a better football team than SDSU. I watched USD on TV Saturday afternoon and they look very good on offense. They may have the best QB in the Dakotas. And Danny Freund is very good. The SIOUX will have there hands full down there. But alot of football to be played before that game.

NDSU in the 80's and Grand Valley recently had the same perciption. Play all your playoff games at home. NDSU outbid em. Grand Valley plays in a weak confrence. Neither against the rules as they were just taking advantage of them. Why did NDSU lose there dominance? I think because the other teams finally learned how to defend the veer. SU had the same amount of scholarships as every one else before and after the reductions. May have hurt your depth but your starters should have remained topnotch.

A number of years ago after Rush Limbaugh had lost alot of weight. Paul Begala Democratic strategist contacted Rush and said this. Years ago I had a stock broker in Vancouver BC. We would invest in little companies on the Vancouver Exchange. I would ask how honest these companies and exchange were. He would respond let the crooks make there money we might make some to. When President Reagan took office they quit enforcing the Sherman anti-trust laws, he allowed Big oil companies to buy up the small ones and shut down their refineries. This caused the shortage. No refineries were shut down for enivironmental reason or due to regulations. There were 305 refineries in 1985 and there 78 now. Making less gas raises the price and makes more money. Monopolies and collusion within the oil companies is the problem. And finially debt has caused the dollar to collapse. Of course deficites don't matter according to our Vice President. In the US oil prices are up 300%. In Europe they are up 60%.
