I believe they were getting up after the whistle/play and the defender grabbed under his upper leg and flipped him on his back again. Was enough to draw a fog but they picked it up. wouldn’t have changed the game but should have stuck with the flag.

Official announced no penalty- players were just un-piling from the tackle. didn’t have the guts to make the correct call.

The next game has nothing to do with this discussion. Based on criteria that has been used 'forever' in awarding first round FCS games UND should be at home. It is the classic moving the goalposts. Winning or losing next week will do nothing to justify that decision.

The point is- based on historical criteria for hosting first round games Weber should be the team trying to prove something by winning in GF.

My belief is that they decided to give more weight to other factors after Nichols St used a tent for our locker room a few years ago. Now we get bit in the a$$ because they realize Nichols shouldn't have been able to host us and now it's more subjective. Total BS.

Back in the DII days in the 80's, I figured I spent 40 hours a week at fb related stuff during the season and about 25 hours/week the rest of the school year. That included practice, weight training, meetings, film sessions, travel, games, etc. I'm sure it is only that much more in the DI era.

He must run pretty well though because he ran down that wr after the catch. Must have been blown coverage for him to get that far behind the D.

Lot's of talk about this being UNDs Super Bowl each year. On the reverse side, this certainly isn't a game that NDSU overlooks. They are ready to play when against UND.

Definitely agree. Not saying we're making bad decisions but haven't been able to get those guys. Chicken and egg. Don't get the big knockers unless you are making a splash nationally and don't make that splash until get the big knockers.

I agree but some of our group walked back to the Hilton Garden Inn during second half sometime. I know, I know, but they were up in GF for other reasons and decided to watch part of the game. They spent 30 minutes waiting for the train tracks to clear so they could cross.
