No doubt. Its a great place to have it and the attendance shows it is quickly becoming the best college hockey event of the year. Sure there might be a lot of goph fans but not all of them are tools. We had some decent ones sitting by us all of the nights. The fans that the sconnie fans sold their tickets too weren't the best but as a whole it was an enjoyable experience. Heck the fans in the suite above us shook our hands on the way out and congratulated us on how we played. As for the fan who yelled "junior college" at us as we walked to the X, at least our players can count and they know how many men should be on the ice!

Well 114 was pretty good too. We had the "Those guys" sconnie fans behind us and some Duluth grads turned goofs fans in front of us. Some interesting conversations going on there. The sconnie fans made out good as well. They sold there champ tickets for between 125 and 150 bucks. Must be nice to finance your Final 5 tickets by selling 1 game.

Exactly. Whoever posted on here that Bobby G was giving up rebounds in the slot should be given a medal. I was looking for it and thats all he gave up all day. VV took advantage of them. It seems like all of the goalies i have seen play down here have been giving up juicy rebounds with Lammy being the exception. Who has poor goaltending now?

As much as people dislike the Mankato game because they play cheap, I admire their program the most because they play the game straight up. They don't play the slowdown game like Tech, UW, and other bottom teams do. They don't have the talent to play the uptempo games like the top teams do but they do and they get beat. Might be a stupid coaching strategy but I admire them for not putting us to sleep.

I agree with all of this. Tech needs to play good defense to win games and it was horrible last night. They looked out of energy as PCM stated. Tech had scoring opportunities though. Elliott wasn't seeign the puck very well from the blueline but Tech shot wide of the net. His number were a bit inflated as well last night because 90% of the shots came right at his chest. I would hope any goalie could stop them, but I still don't want to face him and UW. Go gophers (provided we win).

What about when he didn't even try to block that AA goal in the first? He might have been surprised that the puck got turned over but he was standing straight up! Didn't even try to go down to block it.

The Ralph also had UW ahead of Tech on the video board last night but Tech has the tie breaker.

Some random points from tonight: Boy Anderson was really hearing it from the fans tonight. One of the better student sections I have been in. Also gotta love it when Bunning came down and told everyone to stand for the last minute. The whole arena took his advice which was very nice to see. Also loved to see Porter and Fabian get the cheers that they deserved. They mean a lot to this program. All in all it was a good game and a great sweep.
