  1. They may have sold that many tickets, but judging by the empty chairs I saw on TV, either there was always a block of 7 fans or more at the food vendors at a given time, or the tickets were bought and not used.
  2. Glad to see I wasn't the only person to notice all of the blue chair fans. What is really funny is that over on Bville, they have a thread talking about all of the Sioux fans dressed as green chairs. The fact of the matter is that both schools have a lot of fans that like to dress up as chairs.

    UND vs CWU

I will second that. In recent years, it seemed like the D was ok but gave up a lot of big plays for TD's. Today, minus that one blown play, the pass D looked better. The D as a whole gave up some long drives but I would rather make a team drive the field to score than give it to them in 1 play.

    Injury Status

One of the players, (I am assuming Bodoh but I can't remember the number), was on crutches with a ice pack wrapped on his knee after the game.

    UND vs CWU

That was true at the end and when it was close but as soon as we got that 14 point lead, it seemed like the crowd just shutdown. I was glad to see more of my fellow students standing most of the game but the cheering could have been more consistent.
  6. Heck, we all know that this is why Twins GM Terry Ryan is stepping down after the season. A better job did open up!
  7. TNT is right. It is bad enough having to put up with trolls from other teams without having to read crap from our own trolls.
  8. Lol!
  9. 28-7 Yotes.
  10. Western Kentucky beat West Virginia Tech 87-0 and The Citadel beat some Florida school 76-0.
  11. When you go up to catch a pass and you get laid out just as you touch the ball. Thats my definition.
  12. That NDSU receiver just got blown up!
  13. Totally!
  14. Lets show them what UND football is all about!

    UND v SUU

I am sure that there will be a game thread since it is an away game and a pretty big one at that. Hopefully people will show up but I for one will be able to give updates.
  16. Well as much as this pains me to say, NDSU will be one after the probation period is over. So I guess we can compare then.
  17. I would rather have people skip to hunt, an activity that can only be done for 2 weeks, rather than weddings which can be planned on any other date.
  18. The only upside to these disasters in North Dakota is the helpful nature of the residents and the machinery available for use. While I have not seen what Northwood looks like today, I can remember back a couple of years to when my town had a microburst go through that cause tornado like damage. The biggest problem is that fallen trees tend to block all streets. Luckily for these small towns, the number of trucks, chainsaws, and loader tractors around helps make the cleanup efforts alot easier. I wish all the residents the best.
  19. Makes sense. Thanks for the info.
  20. Looks like the site has fallen victim to hackers. What is the big attraction for hackers from other countries to hack sports sites? Russian hackers hacked D2football not to long ago and now we have Muslim hackers on NDpreps. It sucks for everyone involved.
  21. This is the worry I have for night games during the week. Enough fans already leave early on Sat afternoon games. But on a Thurs night, I could see some people leaving that wouldn't on a Sat because they have work, school, parties, and other things the next day. Night games on weekends might be a different story though.
  22. Keep wrestling or add baseball so that all of the PAC 10 teams have it. I would say they made a very, very smart choice.
  23. Yeah I would list the wind first. All that other stuff is fine and dandy, but it doesn't win games. Sure the players know how to win and the fans want to watch a victory. It doesn't affect the team, IMO. Home field advantage is about noise, environment, and other factors. UND has the turf and noise, and GV has the wind. I would be the bank they would have lost last year if it was played in the Al.
  24. I think home field advantage is the key. GV's stadium is a very hard place to play with the wind. If they get to play at home during the playoffs, they will be tough to beat. This year. however, they change quarterbacks. All it takes is 1 or 2 losses in the reg season and they don't get homefield for the playoffs. If they come to USD or the Alerus, I don't think they will win.
  25. I guess I am not seeing the logic of this. Giving the best tickets to season ticket holders is not a new idea. It is done everywhere in every sporting event. You pay more for better seats. If they would give them to the public, (and by no means should they), they would be way more in price than the rest of the tickets. So then could the general public really afford them? I think there is plenty of decent seats not taken up by the FSC. After all, only so many people can sit on the 50.
