Team has battled against top teams and can’t finish or grease out a win. The sophomore class has been brutal. Look at the stats. There’s some talent on the team, but that class isn’t carrying their load at all. One of the issues no question. Next year will be terrible.

Probably give them 28 for next year too. Return a lot of players just looking at their roster.

What did Collin Adams do to get into the doghouse? Pretty bad when Casey Johnson (a Dman) and a few other forwards are in the lineup and he’s not. Thought he started off the year well and would make a big impact as a freshman.

A winning team again is what’s needed at the Alerus. I want Bubba to have success and have a sold out game. Times ticking. Still optimistic.

Thought UND was flat. New lines showcased inconsistency and poor play. Kawg, Adams, Mismash didn’t see much ice. I don’t understand. 5 min PP was huge. Needed to score 2 goals there You’re telling me Yon or Simo is gonna win the game in the 3rd? UND need to get healthy once again and figure out their lineup!

I think it's up to the Juniors to step up. The season relies on them on how far they want their season to go. JJ has 1 goal only thus far. Pogo has 4 goals only. Shaw has been good at times and then inconsistent for stretches. It would be a bonus on the offense too if the freshies would start chipping in more too, but I will cut them some slack.

USA lacks a solid blueline. Huges and Fox are good and can transition the puck, but collectively their back end is soft.

I mean his current coach played at SCSU. And that coach had friends, Lee, Vande that played at UND. He would have heard the pros and cons of going to St. Cloud and UND. He's a good recruit but again is small. Could be more of an impact player at SCSU. There's def. some advantages and disadvantages for his scenario. Glad he chose, UND, actually thought he'd be at SCSU seeming it would be a better fit. I hope he continues to do well in the USHL too going forward. I don't want to see another Cakebread scenario play out.

like this watching this team more so than last year with Jost and Brock. This is a team, all 4 lines going. Yon, Smith and Simo have really stepped up their game. This team is rising to the occasion with the adversity and injuries. It’ll be nice to get Hoff and Bowen back but I can’t single out one terrible performance. We’re seeing that team depth.

I think people need to relax. Union's Jack Adams didn't even play in a game this weekend against UND and had 37 goals last year in the ushl. He has 1 goal in his college career so far. Can you imagine our fan base if this player was on our team and struggling?

Let’s start with a 50:1 ratio and that’s probably pretty damn close. I don’t know one friend or colleague that has purchased any Fighting Hawks appaeral. Any new purchase has been the Univsity of North Dakota ONLY.

UND not landing some of these, I’m not too concerned. We’ll see if some stay the college route. UNDs had a great run of landing older recruits that have played well at the college level. Frattin, Knight, Cags, Stetcher etc. Yes, Brock played a great role in the natty in 2016 and was glad he chose UND. Jost leaving after 1 year, still surprised by that move. I’d rather have the commits stay 3 years or more. Most young/high draft pick teams don’t win the natty. See BU for example. It appears that Wisco will be on that trend next.

Game changed after the no goal. Goal would have stood in the NHL. Unreal how bad that reffing was. Embarrassing regardless of being a UND fan. Unacceptable.

UND dominated all weekend. Credit to the freshies too. That’s probably the worst MN team I’ve seen in a while. They should have been swept and already have 3 loses on the year. Funny how Casey got injured. Start drinking some milkshakes and hitting the weights son. UND has some nice deep on D. Yon got in tonight. He didn’t really do much. He needs to continue to work and get better. a nice win!

Feels good beating MN again! Solid effort with the squad. Too bad Jost wasn’t around for the fun. I like this team so far.
