Do other school's fans wring their hands about attendance too? We will probably end the year in the top 30 schools in FCS attendance with an upward trend. It will be what it is, doesn't mean we can't provide a loud home field advantage no matter what the turnout. After supporting the team through the transition this is a reward and it came sooner than many would have guessed.

You're joking right - look at the past 5 years and how easy it has been for SU to make the NCAA tourny in a variety of sports because of weak competition within the conference. Also there were several teams the football team played this year that were ranked when we played them - we beat them and they moved down out of the rankings - cause/effect.

Let's not make this a discussion filled with threats and negatives - attendance is up double digits this year - there are many things that can affect attendance positive or negative - whether if it turns out to be 8,000 or 10,000 fans inside the Alerus they can still make plenty of noise.

I'd say this is a make-up call on the part of the NCAA committee except that this is exactly where UND belongs based on their season - unlike last year. (Just because you're not paranoid about the NCAA doesn't mean they aren't out to get you. )

If Richmond loses that should certainly move us up into the top 8 unless the Big Sky Rep sits on his hands like last year.

NCAA Committee needs to huddle and figure out new scearios for keeping UND out of the top 8.

Based on their unearned entry last year I would love seeing WIU getting the shaft this year.

Based on last year's choices we know the scenario changes based on what they need to say to diss UND. Perhaps there is a longer-term NCAA payback for the nickname then we were lead to believe?

we will not get any breaks in any situation count on not getting seeded. If they can justify last year they can justify anything.

Shanks needs to focus on rebounding and stuffing the dish passes - not much else, especially shooting threes. Final 94-66 These games are a no-win if you blow them out it's expected if it's anything close it's a disaster.

Last year I thought they had overcome their freethrow issues - tonight ugh, hopefully it's just a lack of focus.

Didn't Coe have a connection with a coach at UND, I think having a history and connection with a coach makes a difference in "taking a chance" on a transfer. Also wasn't he a fifth year exception - we've had good luck with those rather than someone who is tranferring because they don't like their current coach, want more playing time - that often means there is baggage.

Except some are saying now that if the team you beat is no longer ranked then you didn't beat a ranked team - or maybe that only applies to UND.

If Bubba doesn't win coach of the year I say that's another example of how UND will always be an outsider in the Big Sky and should bolt if given the right chance. Also if we finish #9 and on the road that is proof that the Big Sky Rep in the room isn't going to bat for us (two years in a row).

Yah the following year they were more than willing to play us with their increased number of scholarships and ability to recruit DI kids - they had all the advantages and had just finished 10 years of getting pummeled by us.

Have to wait and see how much the price increase is going to be. I'm okay with it because I think we've been getting by pretty cheap but the band wagon fans only have so many dollars they are willing to spend on UND tickets. As far as students - it's a different world most just don't care and a majority of schools face the same issue.

Coach of the year vote will speak volumes.
