So you are a regular poster on a UND fan site, you listen to radio broadcasts of UND hockey and coach interviews... I'm just curious - what is your motivation and infactuation wih UND sports - personally I could care less about going to Bison-swille and would rather listen to an emergency warning system test than any sports program about FU (unless they are playing UND in something which recently means they are losing).

Actually he has baggage from his time in St. Cloud - at least one very bad decision regarding how he dealt with players - I believe he was suspended. Nothing outragous but it got him some very bad publicity.

I believe St. Cloud State's enrollment is larger than FUs. Don't know that enrollment comes into play - plenty of big players in NCAA basketball don't have large enrollments.

Seen it, held it. Easiest way to display it would be in a case that you can see it on all sides then there is no pissing match about what side is facing out. So the next question is where does it get displayed? On campus, the Alerus, the state museum in Bismarck?

Great idea - and since the Alerus is a public building if it were to be stolen it would be considered a crime. But with job openings at Best Buy and as petition signature takers drying up there might be some looking for a job like this that fits their skills.

The battle for the trophy is over - even if they play how could they justify playing for a trophy that has an icon on it that has been retired and for some is considered mis-use of Native Americans - if UND and USD can't play for Sitting Bully anymore I can't see how the anti-nickname crowd would ever allow for a game to be played with a Sioux logo on it.

I am not a Jone apologist, I am not Mrs. Jones. Now let's have an intelligent discussion. 1. When we look back on this team in 5 years I think we will realize the talent level wasn't as good as the current perspective thinks it is - for this level of basketball. 2. This teams legacy - great individual talent - weak on team work? 3. Can't really compare DII records to DI record - way different opponent talent level and strength of schedule. 4. There will be no more Elite 8 appearances for UND men's basketball - ever.

I have followed UND basketball since the Gunther era, maybe that is part of my problem. Dave and Glas both had down years, sometimes several in a row. But I never heard anyone ever call for their heads. Of course there were no chat rooms, there was only talk over a beer after the game. They had talented teams and sometimes they just didn't put it together as well as another team. I always just looked at it as entertainment, not a reflection of UND as a whole, or something that would ruin my enjoyment of UND sporting events in general.

What's the record of Summit schools vs Big Sky schools this year?

Is it common knowledge how much schools offer kids or is it hearsay - how is Kolpack able to write that every time a kid chose UND over FU it was because UND offered more money?

Plans are to attend again and try and bring some first timers - will there be a metal detector at the door? I am going to dig through my Siouxpride.com inventory and try and come up with some doorprizes to add to the bounty.

Okay your daily duty of coming to a fan site of a team you have Moooved on from and trying to convince us that FU is better in every way is accomplished.If we said "Mission Accomplished" would you go away?

Gotta give CC credit for what they have done based on the obstacles they have to recruiting: super high tuition (not everyone gets a full ride), small fan base, no local community recognition - of course it is a small private college so the educational benefits are outstanding.

Please show examples of when I said that Mussman should be kept in charge of UND football - you won't find any. You will find that what my opinion (which I am entitled to without ridicule) was that the UND administration could be trusted to make the right decisions and that I quesioned the value, benefit to UND and integrity behind a constant barrage of posts that called for a man's job, insulted student-athletes and questioned every move the UND adminstration was/wasn't making. The rest just isn't worth the time. I challenge you to go one week without a negative post.

How does that work for the majority of alumns that don't live within range of the free TV. Big Sky Network is sweet for those living outside the state.

Hey I made a mistake with a rating - why call me out? My thoughts are that back in December many were sharing too much doom and gloom about this year's recruiting opportunities and class. Kids just don't have to make a decision that early and while I am very excited about the new football staff I think the doom and gloomers are now over the top with what a recruiting miracle has occured. I continue to be amazed at how many posters here that are UND fans question every decision and every move that the UND staff makes. It is certainly okay to question things but there is seldom kudos given or retractions made. I'm not a kool - aid drinker I just trust that UND is a quality institution and hires great people who know what they are doing. Plus I don't know what parameters they are working under, guess that's why I throw out so much fewer accuastions, questions and insults to their ability and integrity.

I'm not the smartest one in the room - that appears to be you. There are so many holes in this rant I don't know where to start. But there are enough pissing matches going on in every thread I'm going to pass. Just back away from the ledge - it's not as bad as it seems to you.

KFGO is not going to take UND over NDSU - at the end of the day having WDAY isn't so bad - UND gets lots of air time in that market - just have to accept that SU is going to get the primary share of the media attention.
