  1. Well, he may very well get the electoral votes of Montana...
  2. Hopefully that's why they closed practice to the media. I was kind of thinking maybe it was so nobody could get a look at their new dance moves...
  3. Why? i doubt he'd be successful running a clean program.
  4. There's not much of a light at the end of the tunnel for the WAC. Volley could be right about the invite status of the WAC, but there's not enough time. This whole FBS shakeup has yet to be played out. That letter is only a suggestion, although from a collective that has respect from the NCAA, but there will be a lot of negotiating coming up. I still believe that the big five conferences will split away from FBS and form something. What happens from there is what programs like those in the Big Sky and other FCS conferences will need to place themselves in positions to either move up or get derailed to a lower classificiation. It sure is funny how the county fair princesses from the two time tier II champions of the College of Home Economics at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science think that their parolees' success on the gridiron lends them more cred... What a bunch of tools!
  5. I agree that many of the schools are in a good position to move into a lesser FBS conference. UND/Montana -flagship institutions. MSU - large and capable. Eastern Washington has a good population to draw from for fans...etc, etc... *IF* this comes down the way it looks, I think USD/SDSU and the University of Agriculture and Applied Science would be wise to try to get into the BSC.
  6. Which is bigger at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science? Is it their endowment? Or their bail fund? Pee yellow pride! Wear those t-shirts sewn by the College of Home Economics proudly!
  7. I F'in loved Burnsie! I am also diggin' the Montana folks coming on this board! Much better than the trolls from the College of Home Economics at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science.
  8. 17+ home games at 11,500 seats... vs...about 7 (figuring playoffs...) for the Beye-sun at 18,000...figuring the tickets cost the same...(which, I honestly think UND's hockey games cost more...) well, Hackstol's team bring in much more $$$. Of course Hak should get paid more... BTW, remember when George Bush the first used to call Saddam Hussein, "Sah-dum"... I heard he did it on purpose because that pronunciation means something in their language that isn't nice... Beye-sun.. Wonder what that means in Lakota?
  9. MSU 48 UND 27 But, UND will win the dance competition... Muss will have to go after this season...

  11. Yup. He's really not good at this. Kind of reminds me of Mr. Baseball, good ol' Lakes on the Ramnation board. Biggest message board meltdown I have ever seen.
  12. Is that what the fans of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science mean when they talk about having a "Yellow Out"?
  13. Goodness, you really are a child, aren't you? I find "humer" in that!
  14. "Tried" is the key word. He really sucks at this..
  15. Well, the only time I remember that the flagship university of the state of North Dakota, UND, used pink (The color of the prarie rose, our state flower) in athletics was with the sale of special uniform tops and t-shirts to raise money for breast cancer research. As does the Ag School. Myself, I find that very admirable. Better that than football players showing their junk to young ladies in malls. Or stealing electronics from Best Buy. Or violating the law by forging signatures on petitions. Or beating someone sensless in an alley outside of a bar. But, those are things that the fans of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science football team seem to support. Or, what I like to now call "Pee Yellow Pride!" (God, you're really not good at this...note the lack of a question mark..)
  16. Every fan of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science looks like they peed on their t-shirt. That's pretty obvious, don't you think?
  17. It's kind of interesting. With the AC's success on the field with FBS schools, along with other FCS schools upsetting them, they are being more careful on scheduling the FCS schools. I think programs like the AC's have raised the bar... making it tougher for the AC to schedule FBS schools. You're right also, with the B1G and, I am sure, other conferences in FBS discouraging scheduling FCS opponents, success has made it oddly more difficult for the AC to repeat that success. I would imagine when Utah and Washington scheduled UND, they probably didn't even have the AC on their radar due to their victory margin since 2006. Oddly, UND's lack of success makes it easier to get schools like this on their schedule. I wonder if the FBS would have a legitimate playoff like the FCS, would these games be easier for the AC to get? After all, the game might be seen as a way to get a quality opponent to prepare their program for the playoffs, instead of a game to avoid because they dont' want to hurt their FCS standing?
  18. I think there are two reasons they avoid UND. (Being Mr. Obvious here.) 1. They can fill the stadium with any team right now. They would prefer a Delaware State to a UND, because they don't have to sign home and home agreements with schools like Delaware State. It's better business. 2. Playing UND gives recognition to UND as an "equal" of some sort, maybe not in the level of play, but the level of being an FCS school in the same state. Especially since that agreement would probably have to come with a home and home contract. That probably would hurt recruiting the take some of the focus away from NDSU in football, especially if the game were close or if the would *choke* lose...
  19. For now. Just give it a couple of years. If the University of Agriculture and Applied Science's football team wins their 3rd straight tier II championship, which they should, Bohl is gone. Of course, their pee-yellow t shirt wearing drunken fans will say, "He signed through 2020! He's not leaving!" bwahahaahahah! Yeah, if Nebraska fires Pelini, that contract would be bought out within 10 minutes of alerting their alumni. The pee yellow t shirt wearing drunken fans are totally clueless about the money involved at the elite level of college football. They'll buy out Bohl's contract also (Peanuts at the elite college football level) and give him 2-3 million a year. He'll sign that contract and bail on Fargo in a heartbeat. I wouldn't blame him at all. It's a chance to win with a program that has everything going for it at the highest level of college sports. It's his alma mater. It's the school of his mentor. With a guarantee of 5 years of that kind of money, he has no worries about money ever again. Yeah, compete with that Ag College. You can't.and you won't. Better enjoy it this season. Because things could change. Like someone very wise said here, it's never as good as you think, but on the other hand it's never as bad. So, when the crash comes, it might be time to consider either going back to being a good FCS program, and not dominating year after year, and maybe winning once in a while, or moving up to a lesser FBS conference.
