  1. He was either under the influence of he is too stupid to be working at "The Flagship" university in North Dakota. As for the people saying he didn't realize that he hit another vehicle, there were 5 other people in the van. Somebody would have noticed and my guess would have said something to him.
  2. Then why don't you stop? If you are late to the airport, you catch a later flight. People miss flights all of the time and get rescheduled. The Bison basketball team got back at 11:00 PM Sunday because they miss a connecting flight.
  3. Get back to me when there is a crime called "resisting false arrest". And from what I have heard it was the other guy who wanted to take it outside because he was feeling pretty tough with his 2 buddies with him to back him up.
  4. Logic should tell you it was 5:05 AM and he didn't stop because alcohol WAS involved. If alcohol wasn't involved he stays and calls police. But because it most likely was alcohol related, he doesn't want to stay and get a DWI with his players in the van.
  5. Good guys do make mistakes. Generally they are smart enough not to run from an accident when they are in their mid 40's and should know better. Maybe a 20 year old gets scared and does that, but not someone in charge of a Division 1 program while they are on a road trip with their team. I actually like most of UND's coaches and administrators. Jones, Brewster, Mussman, Faison all seem to be generally good and nice people. Ashlee Hardee comes off as an arrogant, unlikable man.
  6. I guess good guys are out at 5:05 AM after a loss at a tournament and run their car into somebody then take off? Not my idea of a good guy and role model. Do you suppose he may have been drinking and that is why he drove off? Bite my tongue, not Ashlee Hardee.
  7. But Hardee is a great coach. How could he be taken by surprise by another much inferior coach. Are you saying he was outcoached? You better watch what you say about him.
  8. Feel sorry for the kids, but not for the coach. Hardee is apparently a good coach, but way too arrogant. When UND went into the Big Sky, he pretty much guaranteed they would win the Big Sky and get into the NCAA's. He said even if the didn't win the tournament, they would be a Top 25 type team and get an at large bid. Do you suppose he will be watching tomorrow with his team waiting for their name to be called?

    2013 Playoffs

How many games will the Big Sky win in the playoffs this year? I would say the over/under is 2.
  10. Well Santa Clara is a much better team than Cal Poly, and NDSU beat them at their gym. while UND loses at a neutral site by 27. UND seems to only play well at home. History would tell us it would be NDSU by 40 if they played at the BSA this year. (See SDSU a couple of years ago)

    2013 Playoffs

That's right, Hakstol has run into a hot goalie in the playoffs in every one of this 11? years. Maybe he should recruit a hot goalie....... I'm sure Hak would tell you differently, but eventually in 11 years, you end up with some of the good bounces and not all of the bad ones.
  12. Actually it could be bad news for UND. MidCo could try to get the rights to NDSU athletics instead of UND. With a presence in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo and NDSU football being the the hottest ticket to get, it would make sense to go after it. Also, what better way to get Fargo residents to make the switch than to tell them they won't see NDSU athletics if they stay with Cable One. Also, most of Midco's coverage area is in the Summit League footprint. The out state viewers would be more interested in watching a Summit League Basketball or volleyball game than a Big Sky game.
  13. Klieman would be a great choice but as a Bison fan, I hope he is not interested. I think he may be waiting for Bohl to take a job at the next level as he would be the obvious choice to replace Bohl. He may be making more than Mussman made this year anyway.

    Fire Muss

Unfortunately, I think Muss is gone. He was the #1 recruiting resource in the State of North Dakota.... For NDSU.

    Fire Muss

Because its hard to write about UND athletics when you aren't allowed on campus.

    Fire Muss

Mr. Miller apparently is ready for an unpaid 2-week vacation. Although 2 weeks pay may be a small price to pay for not having to watch that team play again this year.
  17. They left out "on a season low 3 pass attempts".
  18. Not all schools can have the hard nosed, objective, critical "hold their feet to the fire" coverage UND gets from the Herald and WDAZ. I think Schlossman once wrote UND's top line had a bad shift. Of course after he was suspended from covering the team for two weeks, he came back around to the UND can do no harm philosophy.
  19. I wouldn't say UND is getting good athletes. I'm not sure they are developing their talents and strengths once they get on campus. I'm also not sure this coaching staff knows how to put their athletes in the best positions to make plays.
  20. Not until I saw the raunchy sign, until then I was fine with it. Seemed a little strange, like a Bison fan wearing a Bison football jersey to a Sioux hockey game, but nobody gave them grief for being there. Even several Bison fans giving them fist bumps or high fives. But when people saw that sign, there were people yelling at them until someone took it away from them. Not sure who that was, if it was an ESPN guy or security or just a fan.
  21. If UND doesn't beat MSU without McGhee, UND won't finish over 500 this year. MSU without McGhee is not a playoff team.
  22. Actually, the ones that truly looked liked morons yesterday were the Sioux fans wearing their jerseys holding up an obscene sign about Coach Bohl.
  23. Hey, maybe ESPN will come to Grand Forks for "College Hockey Gameday"? I think that is the two minute pregame show before the National Championship game.
  24. Listen to your friend Hayduke, anyone can say whatever they want wherever and whenever they want to, and that includes "Sioux S...).
  25. Not questioning the right for UND fans to show up, just saying they have no right to cry about somebody saying or chanting something about the Sioux if they do.
