I think it's been 10 years of these same types of comments. And it remains true. I think we could copy/paste our responses to their posts without even reading them and it would be true every time. Their "make fun of the rednecks in ND" was funny for a couple seasons when they first started. They keep pushing the same premise but haven't hit the mark in quite a long time.

I don't care who streams it as long as production stays with Midco. Second-to-none as far as production value goes. Although I will say, in past years I've had an occasional issue with the NCHC app streaming the game, but only a couple times a year. So far this year I haven't had a single issue. Everything's been rock solid.

A little nice extra acting by Blake on that, maybe. But BSU deserved it.

Unofficial word was that somebody new is directing the Hockey Band tonight and made mistake and called for the wrong fight song. We just need the team to score again and see if he was corrected.

I just went back to listen. At least after the second goal it sounded like “It’s For You, North Dakota U”. It’s one of the three school songs. It’s part of the parade song rotation, along with Stand Up and Cheer, and Fight On Sioux (or whatever they’re calling that one now).

Also interesting is that shots allowed per game is about the same so far this year as it was last year. Last year they allowed 24.6 shots per game average. This year so far it's 25.6 shots per game. One shot MORE per game, but save percentage is that much higher. Says a lot about Perrson. It doesn't say anything about the quality of the shots, though. It could be that there are far fewer high quality shots and that this year they're keeping them more to the outside.

Yup. On top of that, the announcers seemed to be almost whispering during normal play by play, but then went full volume yelling when BU scored. It was an incredibly uncomfortable broadcast to watch and listen to.
