  1. I guess you weren't around before Parise played his first game in a Sioux jersey......
  2. And wasn't he the player of the game even though he lost?
  3. Honest question: how do you know?
  4. That was actually the context in which he said it.
  5. Thursday I'll be at Sensors (I'm assuming they're showing the game). If they win on Thursday, I'll be in Milwaukee on Saturday.
  6. Just watched that movie today.
  7. That would be great if you could ask. It would make it that much more worth the money to know that they are the same jerseys. And hell, even if they aren't, I'll tell people they are.
  8. Not sure if this was posted anywhere: http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/9NCAA/2...sules1_0428.htm
  9. Question #1: Now what happens if we decide on all the jerseys, then find out some of them were auctioned off already? Question #2: Any ideas when we'll need to come up with this money? Question #3: How the hell do we explain to people that we spent $200 for a Holy Cross jersey? Question #4: I never got an answer before, are these the exact jerseys they wore when they beat the gophers? Sorry...they just kept coming to me...
  10. Maybe this doesn't deserve it's own thread, but I didn't want it to get lost in the middle of any other general thread. This was from Jordy's interview with INCH: Plain, simple, straight to the point. We saw it in the UM/HC game, which is the context Jordan put it in, but we've also seen it many times in our own team this season. I just think it's a great quote.
  11. Ah what the hell. Put me down for #5. I'll come up with the money somehow. Are these the exact jerseys they were wearing when they beat the Gophers? I'm just curious.
  12. I have a feeling you will not find 5 tickets all together. You'll have to settle for smaller groups, or possibly singles.
  13. Right-click on them and choose "Save Image As"
  14. So what's it gonna take to get some company to make a Holy Cross hockey jersey now?
  15. Only if he wants to play for a winning team.
  16. Alright...it took less than a minute before I started getting shivers......This is awesome.
  17. Playoffs? It was a good subject for debate last May.
  18. And on Conan when they talk about Cheney
  19. So it was O Fortuna? Too bad I wasn't there, I coulda named that one for you very easily. I can totally see how that song, matched up with hockey highlights, could give anybody goosebumps.
  20. But might you have been in Columbus?
  21. I've looked all over and wasn't able to find anywhere to buy a Holy Cross jersey. With the relative lack of popularity for their hockey program, it doesn't really surprise me that they don't make them. I'd venture a guess that there are more Holy Cross hockey fans out this way than there are in Worcester.
  22. Flawless, BUT.....the quality leaves quite a bit to be desired. On the wide shots (the normal camera angle), it's nearly impossible to see the puck. But you're right, it never drops out and you never have to rebuffer.
  23. In case you didn't know, it's tape-delayed, and is being played live on the CN8 webcast. A few of us are watching the webcast. So you may wanna stay away if you don't want things to be spoiled.
  24. Apr 8, 2000 (Championship Game) 4- 2 Final Oct 17, 2003 (Regular Season) 6-4 Final Mar 26, 2005 (Regional Final) 6-3 Final Those are the only three UND wins over BC I can think of. Then again, I'm not an expert on UND hockey history. But are they the only three wins over BC?
  25. Here's a few of the little bits and clips I could type up during the 2 minute long interview (maybe only a minute long). Took one game at a time Tough michigan team Holy Cross tougher than people expected. They are a "heck of a program, heck of a team." It was a tough battle. Important to continue buidling momentum, but keep business as usual. Been in playoff mode for 4-5 weeks now. Nothing will change, still just take it one game at a time. Took an awful lot of a time for the team and chemistry to develop, but now we're seeing the benefits. playing consistantly now, and they're trying to continue it.
