  1. Its appears that Weston Dressler is a 1st team offense pick and both Ryan Chappell and Brian Troen are second team picks. Came across this information on the Moorhead State web-site, nothing on the fightingsioux site. They must be too busy with AD work and maybe can't be spending time on the student-athletes. Also, the Fighting Sioux are rated 4th in lindy's 2007 NCAA Division II Top 25.
  2. With the Bobcats aiming to have a new FB coach by early June things are going to go fast. One can only think that Coach Lennon, the coach from Carrol Collge, and maybe Casey Bardley may be players for consideration. Any info out there, opinions, etc.
  3. Just saw a nice story about John. His picture and story on front page at //raven.scout.com/ Hope it works - not real high tech here. HAPPY VALINTINES DAY to all and the very best to John!! GO SIOUX
  4. I know the draft is a couple of weeks away, but has anyone seen how Smith & Street's or Sporting News has positioned Chris in the o-line?

    Fall Camp

I understand that the first scrimmage for the fall season was this morning at 9:00am. If any of you GF Sioux fans had a chance to go and watch, what can you report? ie: O-line, QB, etc. Thanks for any info and update you can provide!!!
  6. I know that we are all busy and cheering for the hockey team, but it would be great if someone in GF could give us out-of-towners an update. Any and all! GO SIOUX: GET THAT #8 - DO IT FOR THE UNIVERSITY - THE HISTORY OF THE PROGRAM - HAK - YOURSELVES AND FOR ROBBI As our one poster says - BLEED THE GREEN!!!! Thanks
  7. Can any of you GF Sioux FB fans report anything about the first full pad Thursday scrimmage? O line, Dressler, corners, Qb, etc. I know it's early, but ... Thanks
  8. I'd like to hear from someone that attended the spring game conserning the offensive line play. Depth, rotation, pass blocking, run blocking, etc. All agaist, from what I've heard - one of the best "D"s in D2 next year.
  9. I hope that a few of the more mature readers remember an athlete my the name of Dave "Butch" Lince. If my memory is correct; last football player in NCC to play both ways ( great picture of him waiting on Dakota field for his teammates - in Forum), on same basketball team as Phil Jackson, may have lettered in both track and baseball. All when freshmen could not play. I was told that the "Sioux Ill." had a nice bit on him and Jim Hester. I think Lince was from Mott, ND and Hester from Davenport, Iowa. Not many had the number of "letters" in three years as Butch. And then played in the NFL for 3/5 yrs?? It was sad to hear of his passing to cancer this past year. I would hope that those that remember - would nominate him to the "Hall of Fame" or for something special!
