I believe you. I'm just saying that when a student goes through the green and white account (which is the method they are required to use to get tickets), it tells you that there are no student tickets left for this weekend's series. Edit: So yeah, no idea whats going on with the system.

Thats sure weird cause a friend of mine who was looking for student tickets said that they were all out when he checked for student tickets.

Yeah, you are correct, he played bantams last year. Not sure why I thought he played varsity...

Mason is his name. Probably one of the best if not the best player in the state in his age group (though I have been kinda out of the loop lately). He played varsity last year already if I'm not mistaken. My guess is he'll be playing for the Sioux someday.

Minot's youth program is growing and will continue to grow. Also, there are plans in the works to add a 3rd sheet of ice (with decent seating for the junior team, etc.) to the MAYSA complex.

Good grief. I have lived in both Minot and Grand Forks, and in both cities, the colloquial term is "Air Base". Although both terms are commonly used and no one is offended one way or the other in every day use. And yes I have spent considerable time on the Base (both for fun and for work).

Is that because they more consistently win though (or said another way, are the Gophers popularity problems a result of continued lack of competitive teams rather then a competitive sports market)? Washington-Seattle has no problem with popularity despite the huge fan base for the Seahawks and Mariners. Thought now that I do more research, interestingly, there are very few "big time schools" in states' largest population centers.

Does anyone know much about the ADM? I looked at the site briefly, and it didn't really spell out what the ADM consists of.

Do you know if there is any truth to the rumor? The paper just had a story saying that it would cost something like half a million dollars to develop a new nickname. (IIRC)
