DaveK, if I understand correclty, based-off of numerous posts that you have made over the last several weeks: (1) You are against fighting in hockey as it is barbaric and brutal (2) You are against hunting and the slaughter of innocent animals (3) You are against having a gun as it may cause harm - see # 2 above (4) With your way left liberal views, how do you stand on Roe vs. Wade? Tell me how consistent you are....I already know your answer this one.

I think we all need October to get here and enjoy Sioux hockey and to focus our attention to the up-coming season rather than arguing amongst ourselves - myself included.

Good question - who would the top 10 public enemies - Goofers have to be #1 IMO.

Good point - DU would be up there as well. BC, only because they have taken it to us the last couple of times although I generally don't dislike their program compared to the others.

As much as I would like to cheer for the WCHA, that just is not going to happen when the Goofers are playing - I want them to lose every time regardless of whom they are playing. The only exception would be of Michigan who I hate even more the the rodents.

I would be upset as well although I will be the first to admit that I have no idea what internal issues the Athletic Dept. has faced during Bunning's employment.

And for as much as you find it "disgusting" that someone would ever punch someone in the face, I believe that it is 100% more disgusting to hit someone from behind. At least in a fight, you have a chance to defend yourself.

and if there is in fact a problem, all of us "arm-chair quarterbacks" should have faith that the powers that be at UND will handle the situation accordingly.

One thing I have learned in posting on this web-site is that if you disagree with someone that is a frequent poster, every other frequent poster will likely come to the rescue and will try and belittle you and stand-up for their ss.com buddy. I guess the more posts you have, in their mind, is an indication of how much hockey knowledge you possess. I have wanted to post numerous times as to RW77 "throwing people under the bus" rants but it just ain't worth it for the reasons stated within.

Any team that choses when to play and when not to play is a team I will never cheer for. The Goofs time and time again are that team....

We will be a much better hockey team if Lee comes back - I am optimistic that he will have a break-out year.

Hockey players having a drink....now there is a surprise - IMO seems a little harsh.

Random thoughts on Toews - it appears the consesus is that he is ready for the NHL and I would think it would be hard for anyone to argue that he isn't. His passion may very well indeed may be to come back to UND for 1 more year but not to be a glass-half-full kind of guy but I feel he may have no choice but to sign with the Bhawks. The Hawks have the #1 pick this year and likely will sign whomever that player may be for next year. Toews will want to protect his "turf" with the Hawks and show that he is The Man in Chicago as oppossed to taking a back seat to the 1st pick and therefore signing this year IMO.
